9 apartments situated inside a typical Florentine downtown villa built in 1860 by the ancestors of the present owners when Florence was preparing to become the capital of Italy (1865-71). The villa has hosted foreign artists and scholars. The villa' s beautiful wide terrace faces Porta Romana which is situated near the entrance of Boboli Gardens and the walls of Michelangelo Buonarroti. The entire building has been completely renovated in 2005 and divided into 9 independent units (6 one-bedroom apartments and 3 studios). All the apartments are fully equipped, completely independent with their own private entrance, bedroom, living room, kitchen area and bathroom with shower. Underground parking available upon reservation.

Adorable apartment nestled in a beautiful area of Florence within walking distance to many shops and cafes. Apartment is exactly as pictured on website. Decorated very nicely with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Felt like coming home after a long day of sightseeing.

I stayed in the "Studyo" apartment at street level on the side street. As a result, it was quiet and cheaper (the only apartment without air conditioning). The apartments are at Porta Romana at the city walls across the Arno 20 minutes walk from the main tourist areas. It is an

Are the bathrooms en suite or are they shared? We are arriving there this week.
The bathrooms are in suite and not shared. You will live this place; our room was on the ground floor and we could walk through Porto Romano to a grocery outlook on the right side about 10 minutes away. You should consider the hop on hop off bus allowing you to tour the city. It stops right there just north of the apartment. The passes allow you to take the city bus as well. If you have other questions, I can give you leads or hints since we spent six nights in the Apartment complex. Ernest
