Very nice B&B and great
location right near Duomo. The single room is very small by any standards. Really more of a walk in closet with Twin bed. I had large Backpack luggage and it was a tight fit.
Staff is super nice and the...More
We stayed for a 3 night vacation. Maria and Guido provide a homely environment. Maria even helped us reserve a tour when we got there. Guido made nice breakfast for us each morning. The room was clean. The internet was great. The location is awesome....More
This place is a little gem! Tucked away on the fourth floor with views of the Duomo and the Bell Tower, it is homely and friendly. It was spotlessly clean and tidy and Guido and Mariagioconda were friendly and helpful. It really is ideally situated...More

With only a week before my arrival, and my original accommodation cancelled because of flooding, I was a little concerned what I might be getting when I booked Al Duomo B&B. No need for concern. The room is really spacious with a king size bed,...More
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city
as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
