Upon our arrival, Letizia, was very helpful in giving us directions and advice. She and Alain were both very helpful and thorough. Even provided us the best room with an impeccable view of the Arno River, Duomo, and City. We were so pleased with our massive room that we spent the first night in Florence mostly in our bedroom. It...

This is one of the best places I have stayed in Italy. The lodgings themselves are simple, nothing fancy, but the location is top notch, right across the Arno river from the historic downtown, with a great view out of our window of the Duomo and Uffizi Gallery. The owners were super helpful, giving us great tips on where to...

We were booked into this B&B for 2 nights and ended up staying for 5! We loved it so much and found it to be the perfect base for exploring Florence and around Tuscany. The rooms (we stayed in a few, since we extended our booking and had to move due to other guests) were all large, nicely decorated and...

The B and B was extremely well located on the top floor of a building on the Arno directly opposite the Uffizi Gallery, there is a small park at the front of the B and B with benches. Our hosts were extremely friendly and provided us with great information about Florence and gave us a city map. We were recommended...

Really nice apartment, overlooking the Arno river and within easy walking distance of all the wonderful things Florence has to offer. The room was tidy and nicely decorated and the owners were very welcoming and helpful with local knowledge. Will definitely come again. Thanks.

Great location (can see the Duomo and Uffizi across the river). Owners are very helpful and efficient. The place is cleaned daily, spotless. View from my room is incredible: river, Duomo, Bell Tower. Make sure you ask the owners where to eat and what to see and shop! I'll be back.

We were welcomed by his owner,a very friendly and helpful young man. Our room was exactly the one we requested when booking, with view to the Arno river and the old city! It was a very simple, but at the same time very tasteful decorated room.It was cosy and we ,specially the kids, loved the little area that it has for...

The rooms and bathrooms are very clean and well decorated, the rooms contain TV and stereos. this B&B is localised in the centre of Firenze at few meters from...

We almost did not want to leave a review, in order to keep this fantastic hotel a secret so that they have availability when we return to Florence! I had done a LOT of research for our stay in Florence. I wanted a romantic couples experience on a backpackers budget. Il Magnifico provided just this! The rooms are HUGE, clean,...

The only criticism I have is for the name- BnB doesn't quite fit since the "breakfast" consisted of warm juice, industrial "croissants" and pre-made toast. Don't expect anything elaborate. That said, every other aspect of our stay in this hotel was great. The owners were both very helpful and very welcoming. Our room was gigantic and we were happily surprised...

Staying in Pitti

Neighbourhood Profile
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
