For the last two years we have spent two full weeks at the Palazzo Guadagni. Three years ago we found it and had a drink on its loggia. I cannot recommend it too highly. Its famous loggia is a unique, peaceful haven. It has wonderful sunsets. Each room is unique and we could not have been better looked after by...

This was our 2nd visit to this hotel in four years and we will keep returning. It's located in the Piazza Santo Spirito which is just a short walk from downtown Florence. It's in a neighborhood area giving you a better feel for the local lifestyle. The staff is extremely friendly and speak fluent English, the rooms are very big...

By far one of the greatest experience we had during our trip to Italy. The historical building of Palazzo Guadagni was a unique place to spend our nights in Florence. Its stunning terrace overlooking the historical centre and Piazza Santo Spirito it's a lovely place to have amazing aperitivos ! Its classic and historical bedrooms are simply amazing. We spent 2 nights at Hotel Palazzo Guadagni whilst on a sightseeing holiday travelling down through Italy. We arrived in Florence by train and the hotel was a very straight forward 10 minute walk/ 8 euro cab journey from the station. The hotel is on a popular square with the Santo Spirito Basilica and a handful of reasonably priced and...

But probably because of that other aspects aren't looked after as they should: the 'double' bed was made with two single mattresses and not really comfortable; few members of staff were lovely and extremely helpful though for some others just saying hello seemed to be a massive effort Beautiful bathroom and a correct breakfast buffet

Lovely hotel on San Spirito Piazza. The best thing about the hotel is the location - San Spirito piazza is full of great restaurants and bars and is always buzzing of an evening (but does not disturb once in your room). The hotel is a 5min walk from Palazzo Vecchio and the Boboli Gardens only 10mins max. from the Ponte...

We arrived in Florence at the hotel to be pleasantly surprised that our room was ready three hours ahead of schedule. We were given a tour of the reception and facilities including the beautiful terrace on the rooftop. We were shown to our room on the second floor at the front, we were both awed at the style and the...

Unfortunately, we only spent 2 nights here but could have easily stayed for a week. The room is breathtaking, very spacious, nice bathroom with a bath. Great breakfast. The common area is a lovely balcony offering a breathtaking view of the San Spirito square. The square is very lively at night, with great music and restaurants and even a better...

Spread throughout this palazzo, built in 1505, no 2 bedrooms are alike. Some have high frescoed ceilings, some fireplaces, etc. The rooms are comfortable. The breakfast good and the staff friendly and helpful. The views from the rooms and the loggia, while they vary, are excellent. In the Oltrarno district, you are not far from the Boboli Gardens, or the...
