We stayed at this Hotel for 2 nights. It is perfectly situated in the Piazza Santo Spirito, which is a small, lively square with a couple of bars and a little morning market. It was in easy walking distance of everywhere. The Pitti Palace is just behind! We had a superior double at the back which was so peaceful -...

My husband and I stayed at Palazzo Guadagni in june 2011 and it was one of our favourite places during this tour of Italy. I cannot rave enough about how exceptional the service, the ambience, the location and the 'special' qualities are! From the gorgeous glass of white wine and nibbles each night watching the sun set on the terrace...

Palazzo Guadagni is one of the nicest three-star hotels I have ever been to. A lot of pros and only minor cons. Pros: + very spacious room (#14) + effective a/c system + clean bathroom, no problems with the plumbing + friendly and helpful staff + free WiFi + nice terrace + interesting building (renaissance palace) + reasonable cost +...

We stayed at this hotel due to other Tripadvisor reviews and glad we did. It is a small hotel away from the core (10-15 minute walk from the Duomo) and across the river but we are really glad we stayed away from the crowds and noise. It's on the third floor so the tiny elevator is a must. Marco checked...

We arrived by taxi late afternoon and we're please to find the hotel in such a nice square with plenty of restaurants/bars so close. The entrance to the hotel is a bit strange - you feel like your'e entering via a garage but our room took our breath away. The room was enormous with high painted ceilings and floor to...

Hotel Palazzo Guadagni is excellent! During my stay I experienced a warm inviting atmosphere, excellent staff, and a spectacular view from the window of my room. I have stayed at other hotels in Florence, but this was the best one! The staff was exceptionally helpful, very friendly, and I left Florence holding on to a wonderful lasting impression. With a...

Florence was a magical place, but this hotel had nothing magical about it! We felt we could have gotten a comparable room in a monestary. The location was good, on a square, the staff tried to accomadate our needs, but that was the extent of the good things about this hotel. The room was large, but size is not what...

We really enjoyed our stay at Palazzo Guadagni, especially for its location. When other reviews said that Piazza Santo Spirito could get lively at night, that was an understatement. The piazza was teaming with people enjoying the sidewalk cafes and sitting on the steps of the chuch till the wee hours of the night. We liked walking out the door...
