Casa Schlatter is a great and slightly unusual B&B with a very friendly and helpful host. The rooms are all very pleasant, clean and well maintained. The three of us were travelling together for work and the property works very well if you do wish to take all three rooms as there is a large and comfortable communal area to...

Visited Florence with some friends again this July and stay at Alessandra's little "museum"!! Not the usual bed and breakfast, this is a very cozy and warm home with a tasteful decor and atmosphere open to her guests. You really feel to be in this magic city and away from the crowded area. Thanks again for your help and advice...will...

Casa Schlatter was a wonderful experience. The house was very clean, as described, and Alessandra was attentive, very helpful, and available if we had any questions or recommendations. We enjoyed hanging out in the courtyard as well as the living area with some wonderful impressionist painting to enjoy. I would ABSOLUTELY stay here again next time I'm in Florence.

My husband and I spent 5 nights in this quiet, beautiful art-filled home in a close-in residential area of Florence. It is a hidden gem, surrounded by lovingly maintained gardens, and meticulously managed by Alessandra, the granddaughter of the artist who gives this place its name. The smell of jasmine was everywhere when we stayed there in June, and we...

Alessandra and Casa Schlatter will give you an experience that few other tourists will have: living, interacting and eating among true locals. The house is an easy 15 to 20 minute direct bus ride from the city center and all the sights. After a long day of lines, crowds, and other tourists, it feels so good to come home to...

She even tried to cater to our Australian taste buds for breakfast!! Casa Schlatter is beautifully appointed and is relatively close to Florence central. Visited Florence for 4 nights with my boyfriend and we couldn't of hoped for a better place to stay. The house is so beautiful, unique and peaceful. Allesandra is very kind and helpful and makes you feel welcome. It is around a 15 minute walk to the centre of Florence but that was not an issue for us. I hope...
