The most wonderful host and a warm home provided a great experience for our 6 person family. The location is excellent for touring Florence and the market across the street is very convenient. Casa Schlatter is as functional as it is beautiful with 3 separate suits that allows everyone enough private space and the large living area and private yard...

We stayed at Casa Schlatter for our honeymoon. We can't say good enough things about Casa Schlatter and it's owner Alessandra. The house is located in a quiet residential area but very close to Florence city center. The house is extremely beautiful and decorated to a very high standard. The rooms are extremely clean. You definitely won't come across a...

We recently stayed at Casa Schlatter for two weeks with our young family and highly recommend it. The house is located in a quiet residential area of Florence, away from the tourist masses. The local area has everything you could need; small supermarkets, restaurants and lots of cafés, parks and playgrounds. Central Florence is just a 25 minute walk away...

This three suite retreat is like an antique filled museum dedicated to the artist Adolfo Schlatter,a 19th century Swiss painter. His granddaughter is the owner who greets you at the door and will, with great pride, take you on a tour of his masterpieces. Its location is close to downtown Florence but far enough to to have space for a...

We stayed at Casa Schlatter for one week in April 2014.The location of this property is a short bus ride to central Florence. The bus stop is a very close walk (less than a block). Casa Schlatter is a impeccably kept home that Alessandra inherited from her great-grandfather, an artist. Many of his artistic works adorn the walls, lending an...

We were a group of six, who had the great preasure to spend 5 nights in Casa Schlatter in November 2013, when we attended a Travel Seminar in Nelson Mandela Forum (5 min walk) - perfect distance... Alessandra did everything for us, took us by car to find good restaurants - she called and checked on us, and made sure...

I am from New York and my family and I stayed at Casa Schlatter in August of 2013. We were extremely pleased with our accomodations. Alessandra Schlatter was a wonderful hostess. As foreigners, she was especially helpful giving us directions, helping us with computer needs, and recommending a wonderful restaurant and gelateria. The house is beautiful with several bedrooms which...

Alessandra is an amazing host & the property is quaint & spotless. We really enjoyed our stay & Alessandra was a great help with our lost luggage, no thanks to Air France. It is a little outside the city center - but quick bus ride. You will not be disappointed at Casa Schlatter!

Florence was our favourite destination in Italy, and it was because of Casa Schlatter and our hostess Alessandra. It was so beautifully decorated; it was a real treat for us to stay in such a special, unique B&B surrounded by art and antiques. it was also spotlessly clean and very carefully organized. Alessandra is a very careful, particular proprietress. Her...

We stayed at Casa Schlatter in late August - in the midst of a Florentine heat wave - and we were totally comfortable and beyond happy with our decision to stay at Casa Schlatter. AC in the bedrooms was a surprise (somehow I missed it in the description). The house is amazing. It really puts you in the mood of...
