Felt dirtier after using "en suite" bathroom. No place to wash a dish even if you took the chance and eat something there. Glad to get away from the place. Bitten alive! Near the great attractions of Florence but there must be better places.

Where to start... We stayed here two nights, and it was gross. Beds were itchy, bathrooms were like out of a horror movie, owners were shady, and sleep in the same dorm as guests. The bathrooms were so gross and stinky that we actually avoided them. We came home one night after exploring Florence all day and right before entering...

Pro- location (barley) could be better Con- every single thing else. The Owner is a rude old man, his workers are rude old people. Not friendly helpful or supportive. Turned off the AC In the dead of summer and cursed at me as I told them to put it on. It's 4am and it's a sauna in my room. The...

The location is great, near everything. The dorm room was ok as well, clean and big enough for 5 people. The oweners are very traditional italian people which I liked too. The awuful thing about the plalce was the bathroom. It looked like they never cleaned there. The smell from wc is absolutely horrible. They have only 2 bathrooms for...

The hostel is located at walking distance to the main attractions. However, it is a little bit difficult to find. The hosts were friendly but they barely spoke English. I traveled in the summer, there were many mosquitoes, I have to ask the hosts for mosquitoes repellent in Italian. There were no air-con and fan in the room. The hallway's...

So we come to Florence and it was easy to find the place, all the attractions close by, but the hostel gives no good experience, it feels like you're sitting in the owner's living room and you're intruding, the tv is blasting on the night, there is no way to socialise as well you're in their living room, the place...

Rooms are good with single, comfortable beds that are made every day for you. Staff nice enough, but only the manageress speaks any English. The noise is crazy. Loud male voices start at 0600 literally right outside your door, shouting and talking; frenzied middle eastern music plays loudly during the afternoon, and shores are clogged with hair and bathroom flooded....

Overall, my experience was good. It wasn't amazing but I wasn't bothered. The location is very close to the city centre and it's safe at all times, even after midnight there are always people around and some shops are still open. The hosts were nice but they barely spoke any English, it was a bit difficult to communicate, you'd probably...

I like it. Italian people are very expressive. So I don't bother when they talk loud outside my room. It is just the way they are. The room is clean and the location is great, that's enough for me. The price is very affordable. I stayed 4 nights and enjoyed my staying. Their staff Matteo is also helpful.
