A friend and I recently stayed here and found the accommodation great. The room was clean, with comfortable beds and enough cupboard space for all our clothes. Although the shower needs a step up and down, which we found difficult there was always hot water. The greatest asset of this hotel is the LOCATION!!! right near the Ponte Vecchio and...

We stayed at the Promenade hotel in Florence for 3 days in July 2013 and had the best time. The room was extremely clean with a comfortable bed and a great bathroom. Best of all, it has the best location right next to Ponte Vecchio. The hotel owner was very personable and took the time out of her day to...

Check in was scheduled from 2-4pm. We arrived during this time and were not able to access our rooms. Ryianna insisted they were there, but we rang door bell, knocked loudly in the door and called on cell phones. Nothing, what was going on? There were only 6 rooms in this small hotel which was fine, but we had no...

Good news: location and it is clean. Bad news 1) They nickle and dime you for everything. For example extra charge for air conditioning, a towel, toilet paper etc. 2) Promised discounts at parking lot and restaurants are not forthcoming. 3) I called long before our visit to change a 4 day reservation to three days and was told it...

Me and my two fellow colleagues from Slovakia stayed at this hotel for two nights on a bussines trip and I must say we were really satisfied. The couple running this charming place - Renato and Ryanna were most helpful and arranged a lot of things for us, such as diverse phone calls in Italian, transportation, etc... The hotel is...

I stayed it this place for two nights - my room was heading to the street where a lot of motorbikes rides, so it was little noisy, but in Italy, there is noise everywhere soo I am sure in other places it could be even worse... Room was clean and nice, I would be happy to get a face towel,...

This is not a hotel - there is no "front desk" and no full-time reception. It is a guesthouse run by eastern Europeans who will charge you for anything and everything they can. You have to tell them when you will arrive so "Riyana" can meet you there and let you into the room. You pay for your stay upfront...

My wife and I were on a driving holiday of Italy and found this place by accident. It was the best part of our trip. The manager, Ryana, was the nicest and friendliest person on our whole trip. The location was perfect for us, 20 Secs from Ponte Vecchio. Ryana even pointed out the better areas to eat and great...

Staying in Pitti

Neighbourhood Profile
Pitti
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
