The Duomo, leather market, main station within minutes walking. Cafes, small supermarket on the doorstep. The entrance is a little offputting but once inside up to the 5th floor in the lift you reach a modern reception area. Our deluxe room was quite big and had a modern bathroom. It was very quiet. Breakfast was included and as much as...

Three of us stayed in the Cantoria last September. The Hotel Manager/owner was more than hospitable to us.We arrived just as breakfast had finished, and even though we were not entitled to Breakfast until next day,the manager offered us a free breakfast!! Instead we took a cup of tea and a coffee for myself. I must say the Coffee was par...

My partner and I upgraded to the the deluxe double suite after we read the comments about the rooms on the lower floors not looking like the pictures as they weren't recently refurbished. We weren't left disappointed as the room was clean, new, fresh and came with a good view and air conditioning. The breakfast in the morning offered a...

Have waited 3 weeks to write review, hoping that I could be positive about this hotel, but it still pains me that I stayed here. Yes, it has Old and new, same pricing structure for both, and the old is very ordinary and that's being polite. Rather than go on about it and replay all the bad aspects included in...

Let's be honest. For the price I paid, the welcoming, the location and the service in general this hotel is really worth a four star. The only reason I have it rated with a three star is due to the room conditions which requires some maintenance. Things like the door handle, or the paper roll holder, or the chair that...

Parked the car in an underground car park where it was valet parked. The staff helped with luggage and we were taken to the front of a building. We did not think this was the correct place and asked. Went in a lift and on the top floor the doors opened to a smart looking reception. The hotel is very...

5 mins walk to the main train station in Florence. Lots of places to eat in the area. The street was a bit noisy since there was a bar until late at night. The breakfast was good and the staff was very nice and friendly. Recommended to any traveler looking for a place to just sleep after a whole day...
