Staff extremely rude, over priced, it says refurbished in 2010? The only thing that looked relatively new was the b-day in the bathroom. Window wouldn't lock at all, asked the receptionist and help came to no avail. Also explained the amount of mosquitoes in our room (bring repellant incase you stay in this monstrosity) on our last day, my partners...

We had problems the minute we arrived. The daughter of the owner had difficulty communicating even when we used our Spanish which is very similar to Italian and had worked for us throughout the whole month we had been in Italy. English was even worse for her. We were given the wrong size accommodations but we accepted because that is...

The location was excellent. It was close to the train station and close to a lot of major sites. The attendant was very helpful and friendly. The room was large and a little dated. It accomodated 3 people, which was hard to find. Biggest complaints were the bathroom which was fine except that the shower did not drain well and...

This place was very convenient as it is was very close to everything.. The museums, restaurants, and the beautiful Cathedral. I love the location for the prices. However, it was indeed a bit old and the room were a little dis-functional at time. The bathroom was old and the shower always got over-floaded. The place was also a bit noise...

Found it fairly difficult to find this place as I did not know that 'Hotel Perseo' was on top of the door so had walked by it a good few times. Arrived and checked in okay, got shown how to open the main door as it can be a bit tricky.. then got shown to our room and all was...

We had booked for 2 nights almost with one month in advance. Regarding our arrival to Florence at mid afternoon we called the tourist house to say that we were arriving around 19. When we arrived we were told that there was a problem with the bathroom in our room and thus we where moved to another hotel for 1...

The location of the tourist house duomo cannot be beaten. In a matter of one minute youre in the duomo and the train station is also very close. The main tourist attractions are within walking distance. The room that we had was spacious, exactly as shown in the photos. The receptionists were also very helpful. There was no breakfast but...

I was really apprehensive when booking this hotel, simply because I had had several really terrible experiences with budget hotels in Florence. But after visiting the Tourist House, I am happy to say that all my terrible experiences are behind me, because I'll be staying at the Tourist House every time I come back to Florence from now on! The...

Good location, minimal service & cleanliness. Loud students in the hall. Like staying in a hostel.
