We really enjoyed our four day stay at Residenza il Carmine. Upon our arrival, we were welcomed by Catarina, who took time to explain to us how to use the facilities in our room and give us advice on where to shop and eat in the neighbourhood. With her advice and directions, we found our way and everything we needed...

We LOVED staying at the Residenza Il Carmine. My 24 yr old daughter and I spent a week there from June 10-17 and found it to be the perfect base for exploring Florence. Our apartment was spotlessly clean, very spacious, and beautifully decorated. The beds were comfortable and extra pillows and blankets were conveniently stored in the bedroom. The kitchen...

We loved it here, stayed a week. We stayed in two of the rooms off of the garden. Had bathroom, kitchenette, kitchen table and separate area for the bed. Big windows were great for fresh air in the mornings and evenings (had screens so we didn't have to worry about bugs). Was clean, comfortable and safe. Katerina and her mother...

We rented two smaller garden apartment - Oro and Incenso. Both really comfortable, clean, quiet and nicely furnished & decorated. The suites surround a courtyard with a gorgeous, wild and intimate garden next to the glorious Santa Maria Del Carmine church (whose baptistry is a MUST SEE). Lovely church bells ring in the morning & evening. The building is on...

I would wholeheartedly recommend this place. We spent 3 nights there in March, and loved having our own little apartment after almost a month of hotels. The apartment was very cute, and we enjoyed picking up groceries from nearby stores and cooking our dinners. There are also very nice restaurants in the area that we enjoyed. The owners stocked up...

We stayed in the Domus apartment which was great value. From the moment we arrived, the service was amazing. The lady that checked us in was so helpful, showing us around the apartment, recommending local restaurants and marking things on the map for us. The apartment was beautiful and spacious with a kitchen for cooking. The location was good to...

Stayed for three nights at Il Carmine in March. The apartment, Oro, had a nice little kitchen, living room, bathroom, and bedroom, all opening into a pleasant garden. The price was very fair in comparison to other places in Florence. The best thing about Il Carmine, in my estimation, was the location. It is close enough to all the sights...

We had a wonderful stay at Residenza Il Carmine in September at a very reasonable cost. We had five in our group and rented three of the one bedroom units, all just off the garden area. Our units were really apartments with a separate bedroom, bathroom, and a kitchen area with a table, refrigerator, and a cooking unit. The rooms...

We stayed at this B&B in January 2012 and we had a wonderful stay here. It is conveniently located in a quiet area, just 10 minute walk from Palazzo Pitti and 20 minute walk from the city center. The owners are very welcoming and when we arrived they left some fruit and snack for us to enjoy during our stay....
