I agree with all those who have written nice things about this hotel. The welcome from the Lombardi family and their staff could not have been warmer and their attention to our every need was exemplary. The hotel is near all the major sights and is just round the corner from the famous San Lorenzo market, so it is not...

The Hotel Casci is conveniently located for almost all of Florence's primary tourist sites. It is about 3 blocks from the Cathedral, about 1 1/2 blocks from the Academy Gallery and about a 15 minute walk from the Uffizi Gallery. The hotel staff was exceptionally helpful, answering all questions knowledgibly, and making reservations for us at the two primary galleries...

We stayed at Hotel Casci for 4 nights in October and were blown away by their hospitality. The nicest hotel staff in all of Italy! They booked Uffizi tickets for us, gave us SITA bus information, maps, anything we asked for they were happy to oblige. When our Tuscan wine tour guide was late picking us up, they called his...

I have no idea why this hotel is rated so favorably. The breakfast was store bought and stale pastries day after day and while it located near The Duomo--you have to walk down a rather dicey street to get there during late hours. The staff seems ok when they are "on", but I would hardly refer to them as approachable...

Casci, Paolo Lombardi, Manager at Hotel Casci, responded to this review

Whilst we thank this former guest of ours for taking the time to write a review, we feel that we have to reply to her comments - of course we do know that it is impossible to please everybody at all times. First of all, at breakfast, whilst we do have some prepacked items, the vast majority of what is...

We stayed at Hotel Casci for three nights, really liked it a lot. We arrived by train and instead of waiting in a loooong line at the train station for a taxi, we walked to the hotel which took about 15 min. (we've learned to travel light over the years..). Friendliest staff ever, personable and helpful, excellent breakfast with individually...

The owners and staff of Hotel Casci go out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay. They made reservations for us at 2 museums, gave great restaurant recommendations and made restaurant reservations for us. They stored our luggage for us when we arrived early and after we checked out. We had a room to accomodate 4 adults. The room...

From the moment I contacted the Hotel to make our reservation, we received nothing but top notch service in a friendly atmosphere. Each day from being served breakfastt to returning after dinner we were greeted by the family and staff that own and operate the hotel. They always went out of their way to ensure we had what we needed...

It is hard to believe that such positive reviews are true but indeed it was. The hotel location could not be better. The family who run then hotel take the happiness and comfort of their guests very seriously. They were always unfailingly courteous, warm and helpful and did whatever they could to assist to make the visit memorable and convenient....

Very helpful and friendly staff! Clean rooms and bathroom. Individually controlled airconditioning which was great. Rooms were small but typical of Europe- homey and one gets to feel very comfortable and relaxed which is what any traveler would look for after a long and tiring trip! Breakfast was good and coffee great - recommend their expresso!! Entrance to hotel very...

From the moment you enter the hotel, you feel welcome. Paolo, Carla, his mother and Pierre make every effort to ensure that your requests are fulfilled; from making reservations at the museums or restaurants to having your laundry done quickly. This was the third time we have stayed at this wonderful hotel. The internet is free, the breakfast is excellent,...
