The Hotel Casci is actually my idea of a dream hotel. As a seasoned world traveller I look for the qualities that raise tired spirits and provide an immediate sense of warmth and belonging. This hotel is small, modest, scrupulously clean and well-organised and the service is provided with genuine warmth and a desire to help. I made a late...

Room was basic but good, bathroom appeared brand new. Had a tub and separate shower. Everything was very clean. Breakfast was above average for Continental type, also had free Wi-Fi and an Internet station.Hotel was very central to old Florence, easy walking distance of 5 minutes to almost anywhere. Staff excellent, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Made reservations for us, before...

Just returned from spending 4 nights in Florence at Hotel Casci. We had a wonderful stay! I had questioned if all of the reviews were true, and was happy to discover that they are! Warm, friendly service, spotlessly clean, and all of the practical amenities that we could want. We stayed in room 23, which was quiet (overlooking courtyard), and...

The entrance is misleading. Once you take the small elevator to the lobby you will find a nice hotel with friendly and efficient service from these kind folks. The place was clean, good breakfast-we had a very early flight out of Firenze and they lined up the cab, and made sure we had a little breakfast ready for us. Beware...

I stayed in Hotel Casci for 3 days and loved every minute. It is within walking distance from the train station which was a plus. It is near the Duomo also. The room was large and very quiet. The family was so wonderful in helping us to make tour arrangements, dinner recommendations and train information. The breakfast was also a...

We are just back from our third visit to the Casci. It continues to have everything we could want and more for a holiday in Florence. The more we visit Florence and the Casci, the more we love them both. All members of the family and staff are extremely helpful, knowledgeable and attentive but aren't pushy if you are in...

This hotel is family owned and operated. Their breakfast was nice and the rooms were very clean. They also assisted with reservations for local museums and tours. The hotel is centrally located so walking to and from the museums was convenient. They have internet access and wi-fi. My cousin and his wife had stayed her a couple years earlier and...

Hotel Casci is in an excellent location in the heart of Florence, only a 10 minute walk from the train station. It is very much a family-run hotel, and don't expect to be anonymous here. The rooms are very spacious, and the hotel was pleasantly quiet but not stuffy. Most importantly, the service was exemplary. I don't normally write reviews,...

We stayed at the Hotel Casci in late April and had a wonderful time. The staff could not have been more friendly, starting with the quick responses to email questions, assistance with making complimentary reservations at the Accademie and Uffizi prior to our arrival, and providing clear walking directions from the Train Station. They also had several good suggestions for...

I don't know how this place only got two stars...they must have stopped at the front entrance. As you continue up the elevator, you'll find the true charm of this hotel...the staff.
