Wonderful vibe about this hotel - it's contemporary, very hip and happening. The hotel is well situated within walking distance to everywhere! Galleries, churches and main squares. I've stayed here before and decided to stay here again as the last time was as good as this time. Hey upgraded to a suite on check in - perfect long weekend for...

We look for a few things in a hotel: location, friendly helpful staff, a good bar and a level of comfort. Art Hotel had a fantastic location just yards from Ponte Vecchio, everything was within easy walking distance including the tourist sites and many, many restaurants. The staff were universally helpful and provided good advice on restaurants (three fabulous 'hits'...

After leaving our hotel in Rome we checked into this delightful Hotel! Our room was big clean and spacious! We noticed no tea making facilities and spoke to our Lovely concierge Vincenzo! Within 10 minutes we had a kettle (a water heater) and 2 tea cups! It was central to everything in Florence and the breakfast was beautiful (with the...

First night was horrible. Didn't get any sleep. Or room was a magnet for all he street noises from the garbage truck to taxis etc. they really should double glaze the windows. You pay a pretty high price and you expect some insulation from the street. Giving us cologne to "makebup" for it is a nice gesture - though at...

Spent 3 days with my 83 years mom and I couldn't have found a more cosy, professional and central place to visit Florence. The room, the breakfast, the restaurant and above all the team that served us in all aspects and to the slightest details. Congratulations Gallery Hotel Art, I (for sure) will return and recommend my friends.

Lovely Florence hotel with attentive and friendly staff. Room was large, beautiful and spotless. Location great, views enchanting. Included an amazing Breakfast buffet with fruits, cheeses, breads, prosciutto, cafe latte, and, of course, pastries. Lovely bar and outdoor restaurant. Highly recommend! Hope to return soon!

We had the most wonderful time at this hotel. Everything about this room is amazing and beautiful. We received a bottle of Tuscan wine on arrival to welcome us on our honeymoon. The bath is beautiful. The bed extremely comfortable. And the hotel is right next to Ponte Vecchio! Can't imagine a better place to stay on our first visit...

We were suppose to be staying at the sister hotel but it was still undergoing renovations. As a result, we were offered an upgraded room at this beautiful hotel. It is in a wonderful location. It was by far, the best hotel that we stayed in during our first trip to Italy. We had 2 bathrooms, a lovely living room,...

Staying in Uffizi

Neighbourhood Profile
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
