We've stayed in many great hotels in Tuscany over the years, but this place is completely unique. I could wax lyrical for ages and ages, but here are just a few words. First of all its not really a hotel in the true sense as it doesn't have a dining room, but you have all the restaurants in Florence only...

This place in incredible in every way. It's an old Villa sitting up on a hill with a breathtaking view of the city of Florence, you won't find a better view of the city. They have preserved the original frescos and design of the place and also have working gardens and a green house on the property. My wife and...

Dear Guest, Many thanks for your lovely review. Since your stay here went so smoothly and well we hope that you will return again. We enjoyed our stay in Torre Di Bellisguardo. The building itself is beautiful and the grounds stunning. We spent NYE there and the view over Florence was magnificent. The room was large, the furnishings charming and the features of all rooms magnificently original. A refurbishment would be welcome in some of the rooms and would make the open areas such...

Dear Guest, Thank you so very much for your review. It really is comforting to know that in these dangerous and violent times you enjoyed a peaceful and beautiful stay with us. Thank you also so much for your comments which are most sensible, useful and which we will act upon. In the spring and summer the terrace is opened...

We had the most perfect stay at Bellosguardo in August 2016, celebrating my birthday. One of the hotel managers reserved us a table at the most fantastic trattoria in the suburbs of Florence for supper, which we will most definitely be returning to. The view over Florence from Bellosguardo is unparalleled, and the perfect atmosphere and friendly service must be...

This place does not seem real. Everything is so picturesque it feels like a movie. Completely worth the short walk to the city. You won't even want to leave the hotel. Everyone was very helpful and the room was amazing, 500 year old bed, fresco on the wall, ancient wood paneling. Treat yourself.

A wonderful return to the past in this historic hotel in Florence. On arrival I came across the best view of the city, in a calm and relaxing atmosphere where I was welcomed by friendly and welcoming staff. Definitely a place to revisit. Thanks for the great experience.

It is US, dear Guest, who are the ones to do the thanking. Clients like you give back the life to "old" Bellosguardo. We really are grateful. We hope to welcome you back one day and spoil you!

This is an idyllic hotel in an idyllic setting - above the city, above the bustle, set in a jewel of a garden, with a fabulous unique pool enjoying more fabulous views than from Piazza Michelangelo. The rooms are huge and festooned with antiques. The Franchetti family, who own this Renaissance marvel, have ensured that it survives and prospers without...

Dear Guest, We were quite embarrassed by your exceptional review: there are undoubtedly many other gorgeous hotels in the world. What matters though, is that your stay in Bellosguardo was a total success. You really did discover and appreciate every corner of the hotel and garden. We are most grateful to you for such a glowing review. All that remains...

Well I'm a very lucky chap, my wife secretly booked flights, cabriolet car and the stunning home of Amerigo and Anna Franchetti for a for a four day celebration trip to glorious Firenze. My wife and I stayed at this lovely, historic villa with phenomenal views of Florence in the distance and exquisitely managed grounds in October. We found ourselves wishing that we had booked this accommodation for additional nights. Sadly, our travel itinerary and planned town visits in Tuscany would not permit alterations. This villa has been completely restored and modernized and...
