This place oozes with Italian style and charm. Our room was unbelievably stylish with a mezzanine floor with huge sofa. All the furniture in the hotel is classic rather than modern but everything was so comfortable from the bed to the arm chair in our room and our sofa! You just want to soak in the serene atmosphere. Although only...

A beautiful hotel in a converted ohistoric home/mansion, located in a restful neighborhood of similar large older homes. The location is very convenient, an easy 20 minuite walk to the ____ place and Ponte Vecchio (Gold Bridge), 40 miniutes to the Duomo and the heart of Floence. Four of us enjoyed the spacious upstairs rom with its high ceilings that...

The hotel was nice. We were on the ground floor and room was good. There was a coffee machine right outside which was noisy a couple of mornings but otherwise OK. No English channels on the TV. Wifi was very iffy in the room, better outside. Breakfast was a little small. Otherwise it is a nice friendly hotel, nice room...

Great little hotel. Wife and I stayed here for 6 days Sept 2016. Very charming and well located. Just 20 min of leisurely walk to the old center across the Ponte Vecchio. Rooms are pretty big for European standards and very clean. Breakfast was included and was plenty. But the absolutely the best part of this hotel is its staff....

We stayed here for a night with our two children so we could make the most of a two day trip to Florence. The hotel was lovely, the family room on two floors was huge, comfortable and suited us perfectly. The staff were incredibly helpful, allowing us to park two full days and even printing off tickets for us that...

Just spent 4 days there. 15 minutes to all the action. Good breakfast. Very courteous staff. Nice big clean room. Free parking on site and nice grounds to have some quiet time and a capachino. Would stay there again in a second. Short drive to other attractions in the area.

It was ok, clean with nice garden. Pleasant location, just out of the bustle, but not too far. Room was a bit dated... And shower had no edge, so half the bathroom floor flooded when using it. Basic, no major issues, but nothing to write home about

We read the reviews and saw the star rating and thought, 'Hey, we're only staying 1 night so..." Wish we stayed longer! Positives: Ground floor room was spacious with large windows, good sized bathroom and space for our serious check-in suitcases. The double-glazed windows kept out the outdoor sounds. Room was very clean and had little extras like additional blankets...

The positives: The exterior of the hotel is impressive and it is located only a few hundred feet away from the spectacular Boboli Gardens and within walking distance (15-20 minutes) from the heart of Florence. The free parking was also a nice perk. Our room had high ceilings and shutter windows. The Receptionist who worked at night was very friendly....

Whilst some want to stay centrally, we decided to opt for a hotel in the leafier, quieter area by the Boboli Gardens, south of the river Arno. The hotel is indeed a classic in stature, sitting behind a huge wall in well kept gardens. It has all the charm and old world appeal we wanted. The decor is traditional and...
