This hotel is pretty basic, but the location is just a 4-5 minute walk away from the famous Duomo! There is no elevator, so be careful if you are weary of going up a few floors/have any back issues. Take note that you have to drop off your key every time you leave the hotel. Breakfast is free, but very...

The hotel is located right in between the main Florence railway station and the Dome. So it take about 5 minutes to any of those. It is very handy for late arrival as it is also has a 24 hours check in desk. The room I had was single, rather Spartan, with in suite and window to the street. There...

The best (and probably the worst) feature of this hotel is its location. It's just 2 minutes walking distance to Florence Duomo and similar short walking distance to other top attractions in Florence. It is about 5 minutes walk to Santa Maria Novella Rail Station. As it is, the location of this hotel is tough to beat. Why is the...

We stayed here one night and really enjoyed it. The staff were extremely helpful and polite and the room and ensuite were fine. We were on the top floor.......90 steps up! You need to be fit to stay here! Our window looked out over the rooftops and a dome. The location is perfect. We walked from the railway station and...

Hotel Romagna was run by several but Armando and Elton were the absolute standouts. They gave us the best advice where to eat and shop. They were spot on for all our needs. Myself and my 11 year old son had a feast everyday on recommendations made by these boys and the shopping was just delightful. Location was absolutely perfect...

Although close to the train station and the major attractions in Florence, this hotel left us less than happy. Our room was at the top of 4 flights of very narrow stairs -- no elevator -- and the room itself was very small. None of this caused our unhappiness, however. The major problem is that the hotel faces out onto...

This is a budget hotel located in a fantastic area in Florence, very close to some of the main attractions most of us will visit - the dome and train station are just a few minutes away on foot! For what one is paying, this is actually a very good deal, and the old movie posters spread throughout all corridors...

I am a budget traveller. I don't care if there is a flat screen TV or if there is no room service. Truly. But when a hotel says something is part of the room I expect it to be functioning. The hotel is in a charming old building with fantastic old movie posters on the walls. The gentleman at reception...

First the location is perfect, especially coming from the train station it is literally a 5 min walk following one road. The hotel is also very close to the centre of Florence without being too close to be busy and noisy of a night. The rooms are of a good quality and comfort and the staff where great with any...

Traveled to Florence mid June of 2016. We choose this hotel because of its walking proximity to Florence's historic and boutique shops. 2 Minute walk to il Duomo, other historic sites, restaurants and night clubs. The stay was comfortable and the staff is very knowledgeable of the area and city's hidden spots. Had a great stay and also met the...
