Greay location in the heart of Florence. Very nice staff and an excellent breakfast. The location is very close to all the museums and best places to eat. The rooms are very spacious and have a lot of rustic character.

The location can't be beaten. You are within walking distance to most places to visit, and only a street away from the best shopping in Florence! Everyone at the hotel was very helpful and nice. Breakfast was plentiful and good. The room was a good size and the bathroom normal size, except for the shower. The shower was on the... More

Nice hotel within a walking distance of all attractions that you would like to see if you are in Florence . Rooms are OK but not that large with very small washroom.Breakfast is also OK but nothing special . The hotel staff were nice ,worm and helpful. Parking is a problem( you could pay from 25-40 Euro which I think... More

The hotel staff was very helpful regarding what we should see and how to get there. They even arranged tickets to the Academia museum at a short notice(of course there was a fee to it) but it saved us the time and trouble and the risk of not being able to visit the museum and seeing the famous 'David'. One... More

My husband and I visited the Hotel Pierre Oct. 2-5/16 and had booked through Costco Travel (awesome travel service btw). The hotel is on a quiet street and our request for two twin beds and a quiet room were honoured. The fruit basket and welcome drink were waiting for us when we arrived. The front desk staff were very accommodating... More

Location-excellent,close to all attractions ,about 10 min' walking distance from central train station,so it was easy to get to the hotel. The room though it is big , could be improved - bigger tv screen, bottle of water... Breakfast is ok, I would like if there were some vegetables. Internet connection was not strong at all time

Lovely hotel, great location in Florence. Walking distance to many tourist attractions, shops, restaurants, train station. We had a large room with a small sitting area, and writing desk on the top floor (5th) of this hotel. Upon arrival there was a very nice fruit platter in our room, as well as two coupons for a welcome drink in the... More

We stayed here for 3 nights early August. The reception staff (especially Luciana) are genuinely warm, friendly and hospitable. A real credit to the Hotel. The hotel has an old world charm. The room we had was on the third floor front of hotel. The room it self was clean and very spacious. Usual continental fare for buffet breakfast. The... More

The Pierre Hotel is in the center of all the attractions in Florence. It is in the perfect location. The rooms are exceptionally large. We were practically swimming in space after our time in Rome. I don't know if this is typical for hotels rooms in Florence. The bathroom was equally as as large and came with a shower and... More

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
