I stayed at Laurus al Duomo for five days in january with my family and really enjoyed the experience. I will certainly return to Florence and will select the same hotel.

I stayed in this hotel with my family at the end of December. Great location very close to the cathedral and train station. Despite many churches around, the room was very quiet, no probelm at all. You can't hear any bells, don't worry! Breakfast is very good on the top floor with excelent view of the Duomo: FANTASTIC! Rooms are...

Centrally located; walking distance to all the key sites/attractions and the train station. Staff was very helpful. Nice breakfast in the morning. Rooms are clean, nice modern decor; our room looked like new.

The hotel location is very strategic, close to the train station and major attractions. Very convinient for travellers as every thing is within walking distance. The hotel provides good services. In addition, the room rate is quite reasonable.

My wife and I stayed for 3 days ( Nov 16-19/2009) on a side trip from Rome before starting 30 days of cruising. We just returned from an extended retirement gift to myself. What a wonderful hotel. Easy 10 minute walk from train station (Santa Maria Nouvella) and about 200 meters from Duomo. Ask for room # 701. A lovely...

I was traveling with my Mother and we stayed at this hotel for three nights in June 2009. All in all, we found the hotel to offer good value for money. Yes, it is rather basic and the decor is slightly outdated but the location is fantastic, staff was friendly and helpful and we felt we were getting value for...

The hotel is 5 minutes walk from Santa Maria Novella Station and 2 minutes from the Duomo and the shopping streets. The staff were kind, but I think that the hotel is of 3 stars and a half in reality.

If you want somewhere to stay that is central, clean and reasonably priced this is the hotel for you. The hotel is ideal for anyone arriving by train as its a 5 to 10 minute walk from the train station. Restaurants, shops and some of the main sights are on your doorstep.
