Very knowledgeable, efficient and friendly reception and concierge staff. Great level of English. Really good buffet breakfast with good range of hot foots, cold food, pastries,...

This hotel was the perfect location for us. Close enough to walk to most places easily, but not so close as to be kept awake by nightlife! The rooms are clean and well appointed, the staff is friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the bar and sitting area downstairs, as well as the yummy breakfast served daily as a part of...

From the moment we arrived to the time we had to check out at the end of our six night stay, we couldn't fault the staff at the hotel. So welcoming, friendly and helpful, they were always happy to chat or answer questions. The hotel itself is lovely, very central and less than two minutes away from some of the...

This was the most wonderful hotel, the room was gorgeous and spacious with everything you could possibly need and the breakfast was amazing, such a vast choice. It was also slap bang in the middle of Florence and close to various museums and galleries. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Isabella Elwin.

Love the location, bar and breakfast - the only negatives were the overly-starched sheets on the bed which were otherwise comfortable and the walls being thin ! Friendly, professional, classy - a really good high class hotel - but they really should sort the bed linen out.

I generally do not call a hotel "mine" but I have chosen to stay at the Bernini Palace whenever I visit Florence for a couple of days. From the gracious staff to the elegant, but understated, public rooms, the experience is one of serenity. It is perfectly situated between Santa Croce and the Piazza Della Signore. The Uffizi, Palazzo Vecchio,...

Originally a 15th century “Palazzo”, the Hotel Bernini is built according to the Classic Florentine architectural style, with string-course cornices along the walls and wooden shutters giving it a charming antique flavor. The Bernini Palace is located in Florence’s historic center, right behind Piazza della Signoria - just a stone’s throw from the Uffizi and Florence’s main historical attractions. The rooms are 74, Classic, Superior, Deluxe, Junior Suite and Suite, all are fitted out with the best, most up-to-date mod-cons and still preserve the charm of the past. The Tuscan Floor is reminiscent of old world Tuscan colours and themes, very warm and inviting. The new restaurant La Chiostrina is located in a historical courtyard of the hotel, it is the ideal place for delicious gastronimic specialities in Florence, its versatility makes it an excellent restaurant offering an innovative menu. A full breakfast is served in the magnificent Sala Parlamento (complete with a splendid frescoed ceiling) formerly a meeting place for members of Parliament and Senators of the Kingdom of Italy ... more   less
