The hotel was a 15 minute walk from Train Station, very convenient and elegant. We stayed 5 nights and got a great discount for 5 nights prepaid with buffet breakfast included. Knowledgeable staff who gave us excellent restaurant recommendations. We walked throughout Florence from this location and took in all the key museums and venues.

Bernini Palace is ideal for anyone who has mobility issues but wants to see Florence as it is only a few metres from the Piazza Signoria, The Uffizi, and The Bargello. The Duomo, Ponte Vecchio and Santa Croce are a little further but still on the flat. Taxis drive past the door so it's easy to get one. We did...

The Hotel Bernini Palace is ideally situated at one end of the Piazza Di San Firenze in the historic area of Florence. The main sights including the Duomo, the Uffizi and Ponte Vecchio are easily accessible on foot. Given the location the hotel is quirky rather than ultra-modern but the reception area is bright and welcoming. I stayed here for...

Just back from four nights in Florence at the Bernini Palace Hotel Room 417, a beautiful room in this old fashioned( in the best way) hotel. The position is superb, just a stones throw from the Uffizi Gallery - which is a must The rooms are decorated in Florentine style with a large comfortable bed and antique touches all over....

Great location. Delicious breakfast. Good bed. Sweet and vivacious maide. Kind and helpful check in. Staff very helpful. Quaint, beautiful room. TV that works and has English channels, helpful for outside noise and when you just need to have a little low key time away from the busy streets of Florence. Did not eat in the restaurant, sorry.

Beautiful hotel, highly decorated...supposedly upgraded room, but... seemed fair for price we'd paid, and would have preferred some sort of view...we had a wall, also the door onto the balcony that faced the wall had been left slightly ajar allowing mosquitoes in or possibly from air vents. That said, great location, great breakfast- very accommodating and understanding of gluten free/coeliac....
