We stayed here for a couple nights in July while travelling through Italy, and this was probably our favourite hotel of the 3 we stayed at. Location is great, right on the Ponte Vecchio not too much of a hike from the Duomo or the train station (although you'll want a cab if you have a lot of luggage -...

We spent four nights at this great hotel and was really happy with the facilities particularly the spectacular roof top wine bar with a view of the duomo and beautiful wine and cheese tastings!!! Perfect location for our stay in Florence!! My only very small complaint would be the rock hard bed but I thing this is pretty common in...

We stayed in Pitti Palace for 3 days in July and found it very conveniently located and clean. The rooms are on a smaller side and decor is a bit outdated. However, it had everything we needed. Bathroom was clean. Hotel serves good breakfast on the top terrace. The views from there are great. The location is great as it...

The hotel is in an excellent location. Considering we were there in the height of the summer season, the price was reasonable too, however the room decor could use some updating, as it is a little tired and too grandmotherly. The breakfast was fine, with a wonderful view from the terrace over the city. Good walking distance from Santa Maria...

You can nip back to the hotel during the day to rest, shower, change, drop things off etc.The Uffizi is 5 minutes walk and you can nip outside in the evening or at night to find yourself standing on the Ponte Vecchio, The fantastic...

Stayed here for three nights and generally very good but with some odd Fawlty Towers quirks. Location is brilliant, rooms ok.. The Reception and the room was good and appropriate. There was no noise even it was in the heart of Florence. The breakfast was poor, no big choise and the staff stressed and not really carriyng about the people. Because of the location and the clean rooms i would recommend this hotel again!

Staying in Pitti

Neighbourhood Profile
Pitti
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
