We stayed at The Market Urban Hotel for 3 nights. We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are small (as expected in Europe), but very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating with us. The daily breakfast is a great way to start the day, and it is only 12 euros which was less than other hotels we had stayed at. One of the reasons I had picked this hotel was because they offer daily breakfast, and laundry service. The Laundry service was great. It saved us from overpacking and it was same day service. The location is perfect, it is only 5 minutes from the train station and a 10-15 minute walk to the center of the city. When we checked out they provided us with a note thanking us for our stay, and included some sweet treats. it was so kind and thoughtful. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay in Florence.

This was our second stay and we’ve just booked a third stay for 2024 - the hotel is in a fantastic location which is within walking distance to all the major sights, and it’s always clean, comfortable, and friendly. A lovely stay at this hotel. Friendly reception staff and a high quality room. The room was a decent size and had modern light/temperature controls and a comfortable bed. Lovely bathroom with a good selection of toiletries. Breakfast was varied and a very good standard with fresh coffee and once again the breakfast team were very friendly. The cleaner also knocked on our door to check we had everything we needed or any top ups required. On leaving we had an individual written note thanking us for staying together with several packs of Cantucci biscuits which was nice touch. Can’t fault this hotel at all it’s well located, a short 5-10 minute walk to the centre of Florence and it’s great value for money at this time of year. Thank you for fabulous stay.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was reasonably priced, in a convenient location near many restaurants and public transportation (Santa Maria train station), and comfortable (has AC). The room is on the smaller size (but reasonable). We were happy to find two luggage racks so our suitcases did not need to take up space on the floor. The evening receptionist was very friendly and helpful.

We couldn’t fault our stay at The Market Urban. The location was absolutely perfect, being only a few minutes’ walk from the tram stop (with only twenty minutes journey time to the airport and a fare of only €1.70pp), 10-20min walk from all of the famous places in Florence, while being incredibly quiet at night. The economy rooms face the inner courtyard while the deluxe, which were only marginally more, faced the street. The room was really spacious and the lighting was very creative. The bathroom was concealed behind a thick glass wall and door, which was very cool, and was very colourful in blues and blacks. The bed and linens were really comfortable so we slept really well. The concierges were really friendly and helpful, greeting us every time we passed by. The breakfast was impressive for such a small hotel, serving such a variety. There was scrambled eggs, bacon, pancakes, bread to toast, pastries a plenty, cheese, ham, yogurt, multiple cereals, porridge, fruit, fruit juices, and local produce to try. It was served generously from 7:30-10:30 and replenished frequently. Coffees were also made to order. Amazing. We highly recommend you stay here when visiting Florence!

We were a big group of around 27 people. I shared my room with my husband. Upon our arrival, we were surprised to learn that the hotel staff prepared our room keys ahead of time to shorten our group's check-in process, considering that we were a big group. Check-in was very smooth, and rooms were all available upon our arrival. We were also welcomed with refreshments after hauling our luggage from the train station to the hotel.
It was raining in Florence when we got there, so we appreciated that the hotel had red umbrellas ready for use by its guests. There were some candies also at the reception desk for those who need a sweet pick me up.
The location of the hotel is absolutely fantastic. It is near the train station, a stone's throw away from the leather market and mercato central. It is a very reasonable distance from all the other attractions.
The cleaning staff did a thorough cleaning of our room whenever we were out. They also give the mini-bar snacks for free to guests who book directly through the hotel website.
They also serve breakfast at a very reasonable prices
The hotel is quite small, but it is very functional. Overall, a very pleasant experience. I will book here again if I go back to Florence.

The Market Urban is a gem of a hotel in Florence. Starting with check in- the staff were friendly and offered the information that one room was already available to store luggage even though we were 4 hours early. The rooms were spacious and modern. The location was one street from local shopping and only a few walkable blocks to historical locations. The breakfast each morning was very comprehensive with cold and hot options. The coffee bar in the morning was exceptional. We will keep this hotel on our list for future travel.

We had a great time in Florence. One of the main contributing factors for our good vacation was a pleasant stay for 6 nights in The Market Urban hotel. The location is great; you can reach all the attractions, train or bus station within 10 min walk. The hotel is renovated and well maintained. Service in the hotel is excellent. All the staff - people in reception, room cleaning crew, waiters in breakfast area - are very welcoming, doing their job and always available to help or answer your question. The breakfast alone is the reason to book this hotel. Some of the breakfast items are locally sourced, and gluten free options are also provided. If you are taking an early tour, they will work with you to insure you don't leave on an empty stomach. The breakfast was exceptional as was the front desk staff, particularly Giovanni! The rooms were a good size with luxurious bathrooms with top notch toiletries and amenities. The street in front can be noisy, but the rooms are largely soundproof. This is both an easy walk from the main train station and main sites in Florence's historic center. I would highly recommend. Lastly, you can store your luggage the day of checkout if you are out on tour until your return. EXCELLENT ALL AROUND!

Stayed for 2 night visit to Florence - perfect location 5 min walk from train station, and 5-10 min walk from key parts of city such as Duomo (around 2 mins from Market). Clean, comfortable bedroom. Big bathroom, standard bedroom fairly small with minimal storage space so probably not so convenient for more than a couple of nights. Good breakfast selection for a small city hotel, including multiple gluten free offerings which was very helpful. Staff friendly - no complaints.

Not sure where the airport is at - but the train station is in the centre of the city (there will be a train from the airport to the city) - the hotel is around a 7 min walk - close by.
