We had booked one night at the nearby Hotel Dei Macchiaioli but due to water problems there were transferred to Il Guelfo Bianco. Our bedroom was large, the beds comfortable, the shower temperature a bit of a puzzle... Our bedroom was overlooking the street so we had to sleep with the windows shut as it gets quite noisy there. The...

We fell in love with this place 6 years ago and were pleasantly surprised to find it's been expanded and amenities upgraded in the rooms. I'm still dreaming of the fantastic buffet breakfast and cappuccino. The location really is prime. "David" is around the corner, the Duomo a few blocks away, as well as the street vendors. Scarf anyone? The...

We stayed three nights here in a very reasonably priced junior suite. The room was very comfortable, and it and the bathroom were spotlessly clean. The bathroom was larger than in many other Italian hotels, and the tile and fixtures all seemed new. The mirror was large and had a magnifying mirror embedded in it which we appreciate. The bathroom...

On a recent family trip to Italy, we were lucky enough to stay at this fantastic hotel! The location, accommodations and, especially, service are phenomenal!! We were supposed to fly home from Florence through Munich, but our flight from Munich to NYC was cancelled. Antonella was fantastic helping us find a similar hotel in Munich--calling the hotel to ensure that...

The hotel was fantastic. We received a free upgrade to a wonderfuly large, beautiful room with lovely decor, shower, desk, internet, double bed, etc. The breakfast was buffet style and had delicious fresh food that lasted us until after lunch. The staff were extremely helpful and provided us with fantastic advice and even booked our museum tickets for us. The...

I booked this hotel after reading the great reviews on Trip Advisor and wasn't disappointed. The location couldn't have been better, just a few minutes walk from the Duomo but far enough away not to have the crowds of Tourists outside the door. The station was less than 10 minutes walk away which made it easy travelling in by train...

Stayed here for the last nights of our honeymoon. Due to a train strike we arrived a day early and staff were more than happy to accomodate us. Our suite was large and interestingly furnished with an assortment of antiques and art. The breakfast buffets which were included in our room price were fantastic. Unfortunately neither myself or my husband...

The hotel's location is fantastic. The interior is charming with lots of nooks and cranies and very comfortable (and some huge) and quiet rooms. Breakfast in courtyard was delicious. Staff members are really nice and helpful. Will definitely stay there again.

It's housed in two late 15th century building next each other. All rooms are different in size and position - executive rooms have a standard size - superior rooms are larger - de luxe and junior suite are very large with a sitting area. All rooms have triple glasses and double windows. WI/FI available in all the rooms and the drawing rooms and it's free of charge if you have your own laptop or i-phone or i-pad.
