We stayed two nights in Hotel Alex. The staff is very friendly, the room is very clean and comfortable. They are very dedicated in the restaurant of the hotel, we had a delicious dinner there. The Hotel is out of the city center but from a walking distance tram station one can get there within 20minutes. Good choice!

My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights during a holiday around Italy. The staff members were mostly helpful and provided us with a map of the local area, what to see and do and how to use the transport in the town. The room was clean and a good size. We were provided with fresh towels and bedding... More

Stayed in this hotel for a couple of nights as part of a coach tour of Italy. Whilst the décor is a little dated, I found this pretty charming. The room I stayed in was pleasant and spacious. The staff were also very pleasant and helpful. There were 2 pretty major security flaws (in order to protect people staying there... More

This Hotel has an excellent location, about 15 min from Florence's train station using public transportation. Great breakfast and guest service workers are nice. It also has a parking, just in case you have a vehicle. My room had AC so i guess all the rooms have it.

Our first room was small with a very small bathroom and it smelled really, really bad. As if someone has smoked cigarettes in that room for 20 years. After complaining about this we got a nice room with a larger bathroom. The airco could only be switched on via the fuse box, so the room was either cold or hot,... More

Hotel near the tram stop "federiga", in 10 mins you are at Santa Maria Novella Station. The room was very clean and large enough. Even if the room faced the street it is not noisy, we slept without problems. Matress is ok. Nice staff and breakfast is OK for the price paid. I would advise to stay here for a... More

Rooms are very clean, just the shower is too small and the hot water can be very hot. We can ear water running from other rooms at any time. Breakfast is not huge but enough to start the day. There is a Tram 5 mts. away which takes you to downtown. The reception is really the best Service you can... More

Hotel out of ZTL is our concern in Italy since we were on a road trip. The location is not good as it is not close to any of the Florence main tourist attraction but take a 10 mins walk to the tram station 'Federiga' and you could reach the city center in 15 mins. Moreover, they provide a free... More
