We stayed here last week and were very happy.
The hotel is only 10mins walk from the train station and about the same from the Duomo.
The room we had was comfortable and had a good bathroom and a little balcony with a small table...More
The hotel was conveniently located to all attractions as well as the train station, The hotel was clean and the staff was very helpful. The breakfast was simple but good. We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Galileo. We would recommend this hotel to friends.
A convenient, clean, and good value hotel. The welcome was friendly and helpful. The free breakfast had sufficient variety for most tastes. We visits a restaurant around the corner, I Toscano, which we can also recommend for a tasty and expensive meal.
This hotel is possibly the worst hotel I have stayed in. Although check in was a pleasant experience it was downhill from here-on in. Firstly the lift...the most disgusting smell ever..it did not get better over 5 days. Secondly, the noise...when you can stand in...More
Not far from station, extremely helpful staff. My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. it was small but was clean and breakfast adequate, I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if I went to Florence.
San Lorenzo’s lively merchants shout out from behind stalls with an array of products in one of the most traditional neighborhoods in Florence. Different ethnic groups join together in the large outdoor market of San Lorenzo and in the Central Market, a vast multi-floored building. Visitors are bound to fall in love with this area and in particular, with its variety of food, especially those focusing on
Florentine dishes as well as international selections. Nobody leaves San Lorenzo without a shopping bag in hand or with an empty stomach.
