Our travel agent recommended this for us. Our room was small, so small one cannot sit at the desk while another walks between the person at the desk and the bed. The bathroom has no counter space. Wifi is free, but it can come and go. The beds are comfortable. The fridge is small and keeps things cool, not cold....

Very friendly staff who are always willing to help with any information we needed. They were always willing to supply us with what we needed! Even some tea at night! This hotel is walking distance from the train station and from the central markets and museums. A great little hotel!

I chose this hotel because of its location near the train station. The hotel had cute rustic charm. Being in the heart of the city it wasn't really very peaceful but didn't made a big difference. After sightseeing for the entire day I anyway slept like a log. Room was clean.

2 nights at The Galileo Hotel. Our room was quite large and airy and the decor was cute. Upon checking in we were given discount vouchers to 2 restaurants in the area. We went to both over our 2 nights there and found them both to be great recommendations. The shower was a little difficult as it was hand-held and...

This hotel is in a great spot. It's close to markets 3 minutes away, the academia gallery and duomo are also close by and if don't mind about a little extra walking only 10/15 minutes away from the main shopping streets. Also close is a supermarket, laundromat, lots of restaurants and buses and trains. Although it is quite and older...

Well located near train station and car parking. This hotel had smallish rooms, bed was Ok, bathroom in need of a refit, silicon repairs all over. Double glazed windows overlooking street OK to reduce noise while the air con was working. Florence doesn,t appear to sleep. Breakfast basic continental with adequate choice , not much room to move when busy.Easy...

The breakfast was basically a continental breakfast , which we found more than adequate , plenty of coffee ,tea,...

Very disappointed. We would not have rated this hotel 3 stars. The bed was hard, the pillows were hard, the water to the room was very smelly and a communal toilet abutting our room may as well have been inside our room. The noise from the street outside was all encompassing (air conditioning was off and needed the window open...

The hotel was maybe a 2-star hotel. Room was small and the sink leaked in the bathroom. No screen in window, so when the cleaning staff left the window open, I came back to flies buzzing around the room. When asked for assistance at the front desk or in their breakfast lobby, the staff were not helpful and very unpleasant.
