Our family of three had a great experience staying at the hotel Relais Uffizi for four nights in May. The location is superb, overlooking the Piazza della Signoria and half a block from the Uffizi museum, with reasonable rates, given its proximity to the main attractions. Our room for three was spacious, comfortable, and well appointed. We had fun meeting...

This was our fifth time in six years that we stayed at Relais Uffizi. It is centrally located and an easy walk to the Palazzo Vechio, Uffizzi, and the Duomo. Elizabeta, the owner, has created a beautiful and quiet place right in the middle of busy Florence. All of the large, beautifully decorated rooms have no view but do have...

Location is important and this hotel has that. The greatest thing about this hotel is the service. When we arrived we of course had questions about getting around Florence and where to have dinner etc. etc. the gentleman at the front desk was so accomadating. We stayed in the "Tower Rooms" clean, bed was comfortable, bath area ok but the...

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights while traveling throughout Italy. The hotel is very unique in that it is almost like an apartment house. The rooms are clean and the linen is wonderful to sleep on. The breakfast is not extravagant but just enough to start your day. After breakfast, we stepped into the sitting room. You...

Stayed here only one night but the super staff made a huge impression on me - the most warm, friendly, and professional I have come across in a long, long time - and they definitely made our stay a memorable one and I can wait to return. The hotel is perfectly located right in the midst of everything. Was given...

This is a very nice hotel right next to the Uffizi Gallery. It could not be better located. Our room was a nice size with a comfortable bed. The service was incredibly helpful and friendly and they had a good breakfast that was included. We stayed here about 10 years ago and would stay here again.

Please let this review be an expression of our sincere gratitude for the hospitality the staff at the Relais Uffizi showed us while recently in Florence. It was our first trip to Italy and they couldn't have made it more enjoyable. Excellent location within walking distance of everything you'd want to see on a Florence vacation, and the staff was...

Would definitely return. Friendly staff, 24-hour reception desk. And being off a small alley off a larger alley off of the Piazza, it was quiet and yet right in the heart of it all. Our room was wonderfully decorated, beds were comfortable, the room was light and airy. The bathroom was outfitted with everything. The breakfast buffet was just enough...

We stayed at the Relais Uffizi for two nights and couldn't have been more pleased. The position couldn't have been better. While the sittingnroom looked out over the Piazza the bedrooms were at the back and so lovely and quiet. The bedroom was large and clean and had free wifi. The breakfast room was lovely and breakfast adequate. The staff,...

Perfect location in a little alley way on the Piazza della Signoria. We stayed in the Annex which was quiet & extremley clean. Yes the rooms are a little tired but what makes the hotel are the staff, they are helpful & knowledgable.

Staying in Uffizi

Neighbourhood Profile
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
