This was the worst place I have ever encountered. Very old building, loud noises next to the rooms that means you won'be able to sleep. Bathrooms tiny. Dust and flies everywhere as per some other people's reviews. If you arrive late the whole place is very dark, dingy and poorly litten. The general standard of the rooms offered is very...

My first impression upon stepping into the building, was 'Oh, no. Did I make a mistake?' The building also houses 2 other B&Bs and the lobby was really bare and cold. The lobby was old and the elevator tiny. We had to go up 1 at a time with a bag each. But, at least, there was an elevator!! But...

The hotel is just across the road from the Firenze Santa Maria Novella station, but since that is the end of the line there is no rail noise. It is on a very busy road, but the extra double glazed window kept most of the noise out. Rooms were large, furnished in an old fashioned style but is matched the...

Very helpful owner helped us over baby crib , leaving luggage and other things.. Perfect breakfast. Clean rooms. Perfect location. Thank you for everything. We are very thankful. Only minor thing is the smallest elevator in the building.

It was one of our best choices ever. We are a family of four, so we took the large room with one double and two juniors beds. The beds were excellent. The breakfast basic but very good and sufficient, cereals, cheese, salami, cookies and coffee on command. But who does the difference is the manager lady, Nadia. Her good advises...

We only stayed one night but it was very nice. Clean, pleasant staff and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Would stay again especially because of location. 5 min walk to train station. They customized the contents of the mini bar with your requests and they are complementary. Upon check out the offer water and snacks complementary as well.

Hotel is very handy for anyone arriving in Florence by train as it situated close to railway station, the staff looked after our luggage when we arrived early before our room was available and again when we had checked out as our train was not due until later in the evening

The place is walking distance from the station. Also the receptionist was helpful with the main sites to see in Firenze and travel options etc. Basic hotel, but I think we payed a very high price. The rooms are small but clean.

Florence is a city which can be explored on foot. We specifically wanted to stay in a hotel which was close to the station because we wanted to visit Pisa and Cinque Terre while staying here and did not want to walk a lot to the station. We chose Berna based on the reviews here and we were not disappointed....
