The Hotel was central to the area I wanted to shop, the weekly Market, the local shops, and restaurants all within easy reach. The Hotel staff were very nice and made you feel very welcome, my bedroom was clean & had a very large double bed, not two singles put together like some hotels and very high ceilings but the... This is a small family run hotel clean and simply furnished and just perfect for a long weekend. Walking distance to everything but away from the noise and hubbub of the city. Breakfast was not included but well worth the extra. We found several good restaurants in the back streets near here. Very much recommended

Hated it from the moment I saw this place outside. Looks like a one star hotel. No elevator, so prepare to carry your bags to the second floor, where reception is. Check out is at 10am unbelievably early, traveled a lot in life,, but first time experienced early check out. Not a single iron at the hotel, which is also... More

Arrived there in mid-June with my daughter, to meet with my youngest who was studying abroad there. We arrived by train and crossed the bridge over the Arno river. It was exactly the experience I wanted. I didn't want to be in a swanky hotel. I wanted to experience Italy simply. Florence was like walking in a history book. The... More

We really enjoyed our stay here. This was a small hotel across the river from the min city, but only ten minute walk from the city. So much quieter and reasonably priced. Rooms were quaint - ours has a vaulted ceiling and traditional furniture. Good breakfast and friendly staff.

Breakfast is good but don't have so many choise (chees, salami, mortadella, jam, bread, cornflax, yogurt,... More

The place was quite a walk from the train station itself but while walking to find the hotel you will already see the beauty of Florence. The hotel has no lift but its fine. The room was really cozy it felt like you are in your own home. Its near the river and theres a church beside it. Walking distance... More

It was much better to stay just a few blocks from central Florence and enjoy a huge room and reasonable rates. If you are tired of walking, taxi fare to the centre of the old city is very reasonable. The only downer was the smell when we got in, but after opening the shutters that soon disappeared. We had a... More

The location itself is great. Relatively short walk from the train station and is a very short walk along the Arno river to the Ponte Vecchio, and from there all the main attractions are very close by. It's on the opposite side of the river from the main sites which is actually quite nice as it shows a different side... More

The location is nice, the staff are super friendly, breakfast is the normal Italian meat, bread, cheese, plus fruit, cereal and yoghurt. They will also make you a fresh real coffee. No lift and about 18 stairs to get to the reception but looks like some sort of wheelchair device on the side of the stairs if needed (ask hotel... More
