Bathroom had a really strong urine ouder and rooms are on one floor in a old building which was pitch black when we arrived from dinner which makes you feel a bit uneasy. Location is brilliant as it is only a few minutes away from the main attractions.

My partner and I were welcomed and made comfortable almost instantly. Ranieri was extremely helpful helping us with how to get around and showing us where things were we wanted to see. The staff went the extra mile in customer service which in my opinion is most important. Room was clean and well decorated. Location was close to everything we...

Best possible location, the most helpful staff (that speaks excellent English) you can imagine and beautiful rooms. The only real minus was breakfast lacking gluten free choices. If I get a chance to visit Florence again, this is where I'll stay!

Stayed in room 1. Nice firm bed. Felt very safe. Nice welcome bottle of wine on the bed. Room was clean with a modern bathroom. Cozy and charming! Went to Cafe Posta just down the street for breakfast and a great cafe for coffee/drinks across the street.

This was one of the best places we've stayed! We had a lovely room which was exactly like the pictures. It was super clean and the complimentary bottle of wine was a nice touch, in addition to free water bottles every day. The bed was comfortable, but I only had a slight problem sleeping on the soft pillows, but then...

Beautifully clean, comfortable bed, great shower. There is a mini fridge for storing drinks and wine provided on arrival. Ranieri met us on arrival and was very friendly in greeting us and showing us to our room. We arrived on a Saturday night and the city was very busy, lots of young ones out getting drunk. I had read reviews...

Perfect location, great place to stay. We got a free bottle of wine and 2 bottles of water. Everyday you get more water! The staff is great and super helpful. This place is next to hard rock and you have so much privacy. There's only six apartments.

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
