A nice way to walk down the hill from Pizzale Michelangelo. At the end of September there aren't many roses still in bloom so the garden was past its peak for the year. There are several interesting sculptures throughout the garden which make for good photo ops.

Was the most horrible experience....!!! The owner or whosoever she was, she didnt want to tell us made our stay horrible....Guys, honestly please dont book this one if you have a choice. First of the location is very off. The ONLY thing right above the location is Piazza Michelangelo. For everything else you will need to walk atleast 15mins. Even...

The apartment is very cute and in a decent location. Not the closest to everything but relatively close enough (about 10-12 min walk) to most sights. Note that after you've been sightseeing all day, even a 10 min walk back to your apartment can seem like an eternity so just keep that in mind. The neighborhood is great, close to...

We stayed for 4 nights as a group of 4 at the apartment in the basement. The apartment consists of 2 bedrooms, a living room, and kitchen. I absolutely loved the soft colours of the apartment. The only downside is that the bathrooms seemed a bit tiny and the staff at the breakfast area had a bit of an attitude....

Very pretty and magic place to accomodate. It is in walking distance to Ponte Vecchio and centro of Florence. Next door is giardino Boboli and plazza Michelangelo. Breakfast is in little bakery in next street. You will be "Florencer" if you rent this appartment. Much better than hotel. There is one bedroom with double and living room with sofa bed...

Absolutely a fantastic place to stay! Our room was quite small but just perfect for a weekend. The room was beautiful and very clean. The location is a bit out of the city center so you can sleep your nights in silence. Next to the hotel there is the rose garden, Piazza Michelangelo and really good restaurants. The owners were...

Stayed here with family of 4 during our visit to Florence. To our surprise it was in an extremely quaint area, within walking distance of Piazza Michelangelo as well as the city centre. The apartment is close to the most wonderful small enoteca's and local restaurants. Breakfast is served 100m from the apartment at the local bakery. Allesia is the...

What stunning apartments! We had a stunning stay at the apartments and it being our first time in Florence, we couldn't have asked for a better stay. Allesia was the friendliest host of all the places we visited in Italy. Extremely friendly and helpful and always willing to assist. The apartments is in the city centre and modern. We will...

We stayed a week here, joined by two friends. The kitchen set-up was small but well organized, with a washing machine, dishwasher, small fridge, plenty of dishes, mugs, glasses, silverware. Being able to eat "at home" saved us a bundle over the course of our stay. Our biggest complaint was the lack of surfaces to put things on. At the...

Staying in Piazzale Michelangelo

Neighbourhood Profile
Piazzale Michelangelo
Just outside the ancient walls of Florence, Viale Michelangiolo starts. It is a winding road rimmed by wonderful poplars and holm oaks. The long ascent opens up to the most beautiful and famous panoramic viewpoint of Florence: Piazzale Michelangelo, where an elevated terrace offers visitors an incomparable and breathtaking view of the entire city from above. During good weather, Piazzale Michelangelo provides visitors with a serene space surrounded by the amazing landscape, better if accompanied by a fresh gelato from a local kiosk. During night, visitors will be dazzled by the warm lights of the capital of the Renaissance. Spend a second with the silent Romanesque beauty of the Basilica of San Miniato al Monte: the one that wishes good morning and good night to Florence!

Recently elegantly refurbished, the “Al Giardino delle Rose”, is a unique and privileged location, a few steps from Piazzale Michelangelo and Forte Belvedere, and perfect for a walk into the main florentine highlights. “Al Giardino delle Rose” is located in the historic and still very genuine neighborhood of San Niccolò, surrounded by beautiful gardens, timeless atmosphere and typical streets with arts and craft workshops, bars and restaurants. So immersed in the historical Florence atmosphere the B&B “Al Giardino delle Rose”, refined with elegance, looks like the perfect alternative to the classic hotel accommodation.AI Giardino delle Rose will reward your choice offering a unique service accommodation, for any of your requests.
