First I have to say that the staff was excellent, especially Mario and Giulia. They were very nice, helpful, welcoming and took good care of us. There were some issues with the room that bothered me though. I think there shouldn't be decorative pillows or bedspread on the bed. They are not hygienic because they are not washed after every...

Our family hotel room was huge with 2 four poster beds and a fresco on the ceiling dating back to the 1600s. Shutters on the 3 windows ensured a lie in if needed and breakfast was served in the lovely 'salon'. Hotel staff were extremely friendly and happy to chat with/advise you. A really special place. Recommended.

This hotel is located about a 5 minute walk from the Santa Maria novella station. The hotel is located on a second floor and the staff is very helpful. The rooms are well appointed and it's very close to major landmarks. We would definitely stay here again.

It is a very nice and friendly place where to sleep in Florence, both if you are in town for leisure or work. I was there for work. it is like being at home. It is really close to the main station, no need to take a taxi. It is walking distance to the core centre of Florence. Rooms have...

We stayed in a junior suite, room 1, for 2 nights. The room was huge and clean, with gorgeous frescoes on the walls and very high ceiling. The bathroom was also a good size and spotless. Our only complaint is that the mattress on the king size bed was very uncomfortable, sinking in the middle. The hotel is in a...

This hotel is an old house and the rooms are VERY spacious. Spacious by US standards--huge by European standards. The ceilings must be 10 feet or more. WiFi is included and very good. We had two king size beds but there was very little space for your clothes so we used the second bed for clothes. No drawers and a...

I am not sure if we stayed in a hotel room, it looked more like a seperate apartment. But the room was good. Nice view over the city, parking is right next door and you can walk anywhere from here. The breakfast is typical italian with some sweets and coffee. The bed was not very comfortable, but other than that,...

I'm staying on Hotel Burchianti at present in what you would expect to be a lovely room high up on the rooftops of Florence with San Lorenzo dome outside my window. Unfortunately there is a front loader washing machine in use somewhere below my room and it is operating 24 hours a day. The spin cycle takes precisely 7 minutes...

Fantastic hotel in a terrific location. 5 mins walk from Santa Maria Train station and 5 mins walk from the Duomo (and center of Florence). Fantastic staff very helpful with booking reservations for museums. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance, as is the Mercato Centrale. Rooms were spacious (for Italian standards) and clean. Free Wifi and a delicious breakfast is...

We come here for the location of course, but the service provided by Mario and the staff is top shelf. My family and friends have been treated well every time. Don't miss this place. The location can't be beat. Dave Ferrante
