A beautiful palace above an art gallery in Florence Italy! Clean, spacious rooms, perfect breakfast, helpful efficient staff, charming ambience. We couldn't have been more pleased and this stay is located next to wonderful shops, food bars and restaurants. Florence Italy stay made perfect at the Bavaria!

This is our second time we have stayed at this palazzo, this place is just amazing the staff is very friendly, the reason I gave 4 stars is because they need to get some real towels. The breakfast is the usual coffee and bread.. Awesome place!!!

Hot water isn't consistent, 4 out of 6 times my shower will just stop with no water, or turn cold for 30 seconds. pretty lame. It's odd that the shower is in the room with no toilet. Wifi only in the common area, which would be fine if the guy doesn't always smoke and reeks up the place. He also...

This is a happy place, central, clean, crisp and cool. You will be satisfied with the service, comfort and breakfast. Some of the rooms have character to die for, high ceiling, mosaic tiles, lace at the windows. It is true you might have to wait for a bathroom and that the wifi isn't 100% throughout but this didn't bother us....

Perfect location. Nice and clean and the most friendly and helpful staff. We managed to borrow four wineglases and had a wunderfull chat with our "hotelfather". What the hotel lacks in toiletfacilities - there a few and queing can occure - they compensated in friendlyness and location.

The location and the room was fine, but the only problem is the wifi doesn't working in our room, we should stay at near the receptionist to be able to access the internet which annoy us. Breakfast are good anf proper. I hope that the service would be better next time

We were here for one night and had a really nice and quiet stay. It's unbelievable how quiet the room is. When we were outside on the street, we heard lots of noises, but once we were in our room, we didn't hear anything at all! For a reviving night's rest, this is the place to be. We had a...

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
