I am physically quite strong and I was with teenage grandchildren so we did not care but if somebody has problem climbing the stairs do not chose this hotel. The reception and the rooms are on a quite high second floor - 0, 1, 2 - without a lift. Otherwise the hotel was OK and it has a perfect location...

After reading many reviews, we were really afraid of what is waiting for us but everything was fine. The room and the bathroom were clean, the receptionist was friendly and helpful. The hotel is in the centre of Florence, close to the historical city and the train station. For so little money noone should expect a five star hotel, but...

We stayed here in the summer of 2013. It was a little tricky to find, though in a very good location that is relatively close to the major points in Florence. Need to take four flights of stairs up as there is no elevator. The room was nice and clean, fairly spacious, with high ceilings. The breakfast area was larger...

I booked and prepaid for a superior double room with ensuite bathroom and city view at Hotel San Lorenzo. It was supposedly a 250 euro room discounted by 70%. I was really looking forward to my stay because both the location of the hotel and the promotional photos of the stylish rooms promised looked perfect for me. And I particularly...

I stayed at this hotel for five nights in July with my three children (ages 11-18). All sights of Florence are within a 15 minute walk including the train station. Our host had a great personality. He gave us a map and marked routes to some sights. He spoke several languages so communication was easy. This hotel is near the...

There's four flights of stairs and no elevator to get to the reception desk which was ok once we got to the top. We ended up with a share bathroom which we had not expected, and this bathroom was small and 'old'. The room we received was on the top floor, however in the attic with a slanted ceiling causing...

Mixed reviews for this hotel, Perfect location :-) , Poor Breakfast, No elevator (but no problem for us) good hospitality. Beds really comfortable. Personally i would stay here again if it were only a few days to revisit the sites but would consider staying elsewhere if going for longer for comfortability factor

firstly our room is clearly meant to be a room for 2, however there are 5 of us so they've squeezed extra beds in so there is no room and I am sleeping on a couch! secondly the hot water in the shower only lasts about 2 minutes until going cold. and thirdly, with our booking, we got free bike...

The maid service is terrible. We stayed here for 4 nights and our sheets were not changed once! The floor in the bathroom was never cleaned and there is no shower curtain. You have to climb several flights of stairs to get to your room so if you aren't able to haul your luggage forget this place. Came back to...
