Good location, most of touristic attractions are in about 15 minutes walking from the hotel. Nice and cozy rooms, staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is lovely with their croissants and Italian coffee.Greetings from Georgia.

A great little hotel up some stairs off a side street. Our room had been recently renovated was nicely decorated with all new furnishings and new bathroom. Very comfortable bed and hot shower. Breakfast was simple but ample. Good location five minutes walk from main train station where you can get the bus to and from the airport. Absolute bargain...

Excellent location right near the train station. Wifi was not working upstairs in the rooms so needed to sit downstairs to use it. Not a huge deal but in this day and age, and when advertised, is something important to travellers. Nice breakfast. Croissants (especially the custard one was delicious). Also served toast and cold meats/cheese etc. Loved the coffee...

The Wi-Fi worked well enough, despite what other guests commented. We had a room opening towards the patio which was gorgeous and filled with flowers and lots of seating options. The room was quite spacious and had an authentic Florentine style feel to it. The room and bathroom were in very good shape, very clean and well tended to. The...

The hotel is down a side street parallel to the station, nice and quiet but close to everything. We stayed for 6 nights The reception is on the first floor and rooms on 1st and 2nd floors. Some have ensuite bathrooms (ours was no 26 and had a lovely view over the garden) Lovely Terrace, lovely to be able to...

Friendly staff and reasonable rooms, but this is honestly more of a hostel than a hotel. The owners spoke English well enough, and they were very helpful with any questions I had. There is a supermarket a few blocks away, as well as lots of local charm. Unfortunately, the "Hotel" is a good 20-minute walk to the downtown core. I...

Dear Steve L, I think there is something wrong in your review: - pictures that you have posted are not of our property - hotel monica is located in the historic center - hotel monica is a 2 stars hotel not an hostel Best regards Leonardo

We stayed at the Monica Hotel for three nights. The location of the hotel is perfect. Its in a narrow and quite street, which means at night you have no problem to sleep, at the same time, you walk a few minutes, and there you are in the middle of the action, tones of restaurants, stores, Santa Maria Novella train station,...
