Nice hotel near Duomo in Florance, rooms are nice and comfortable the only problem I have is there is one mirror in the hotel and its in the bathroom and the sink has no room to put anything so if you are blow drying your hair or using a curling iron there is no place to put it not even...

Nice place. Very clean room, bathroom, and towels. Provided amenities were very good and sufficient. Having a balcony is a plus, although we didn't use it :) The 16th century kitchen is really neat. Breakfast was very good and had good variety for such a small BnB. Free internet was available, but half of the time we were there it...

Wow. That is my first impression of our room. Authentic frescoes adorned all of the walls in our large room. The bathroom was large and had ample room for two people at a time (rare in Italy). A delicious breakfast was served in their 15th (I think) century kitchen. Be prepared for a lot of stairs. A great place to...

We rented 2 rooms at this hotel/B&B in early May. The rooms were lovely and had all appropriate appointments (safe, extra pillows, refrigerator, lovely breakfast, honor bar with good prices!). Our room was very large with a beautiful fresco over the entire room ceiling and had a nice large bathroom. Location was GREAT! 3 blocks from the Duomo and walking...

Our stay at Palazzo Galletti was brief (2 nights). The room was very spacious, the bathroom was modern and included a great bathtub and shower. There are many great bar and dining options nearby, making this a good location in Florence (city center). The breakfast was simple but good. The walk up to the room is a little tough with...

Highly recommend this elegant, interesting, spotlessly clean hotel. The staff is warm and welcoming, the breakfast (free) is excellent and the location is superb. Walked everywhere in Florence the six days we spent there...took a taxi ONLY to the airport! Couldn't ask for a better place.

Great location. Minutes walk from the Il Duomo, etc. Beautiful room. Very comfortable. Great staff. Were very helpful. Good value - not a budget buster. We paid about $120 per night and that included a nice breakfast.

Without a doubt, I would stay here again and I would recommend Palazzo Galletti to my friends, family, and all of you. Our room was the one pictured (that you clicked on). It was a big comfortable room with a comfortable bed, big bathroom, quiet, not too hot or cold. The location was great. It was a short 5 minute...

Had a fantastic four night stay here. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and had a great shower! It was too chilly to use the balcony but would have been fabulous in the summer. Breakfast was fresh with a good choice. The hotel was well placed in a central location with plenty of restaurants and cafes...

Staying in Duomo

Neighbourhood Profile
Duomo
Florentia, as it was called by Latins, is permeated by an eternal beauty spread in all corners of the city. The historic center is characterized by the immensity of the Duomo, able to transport tourists into the brightest age of Florence: the Renaissance. Who does not know the Brunelleschi Dome, San Giovanni Baptistery and the Giotto’s Campanile? Everything is enclosed here and it would be easy to imagine the city as it was in ancient times, with maids walking in the main square and horses carrying coaches. Nowadays, roads are busy with street artists. Rustic Tuscan bakeries give way to fashion shops; just stop for a few minutes in the middle of Piazza della Repubblica to enjoy the colors and sweet melody of the carousel that will bring back great memories from anyone’s childhood.
