Stayed there for a week. The rooms are nice and well-maintained. The owner-cum-manager is very friendly and helpful. House-keeping is great. The wifi works all the time. Located at a prime location with bus-stops like Poggio Imperiale and Porta Romana very near, so convenient for commuting purposes. I will definitely stay here again if I go to Florence in future.

Sure, the signage was small, making it a little hard to find. And yes, Matteo was not there when I arrived. This could have been avoided if I had communicated my arrival time to him. And since my friend did the booking, I was not aware that the total tourist tax had to be paid upfront, a potential problem had...

Matteo and Federico are the most wonderful hosts you can imagine! After a short call, Matteo came to check us in. Room nr. 4 was very nice and clean. The location is also great, only a 15 minute walk to Ponte Vecchio. We would definitely come again. Grazie Matteo and Federico !! Saskia and Petra :-)

Almost impossible to find this place which has no sign outside and the house numb er behind a gate. This place is misrepresented on hotels.com which mentions valet parking for a fee, or self parking, and also a balcony. No valet parking being offered, no self parking spaces available close by. Staff sells you a E10.00/day street parking card, but no...

Don’t stay at this place! Its dangerous!. My wife, was traveling with my daughter in Florence, Italy, and we chose Residenza B&B Cantagalli to stay from Sept 17 to Sept 22. The place is basically a flat with a few bedrooms on a second floor, which, so far was OK, but still gave me a feeling the place had no...

We would like to clarify that this misunderstanding occurred because the clients requested a specific room that was already occupied at the time. Their reservation for five nights did not include such an option and was all the more impossible to accomodate in this situation, where a preference had not been expressed beforehand. There was then an additional misunderstanding regarding...

Not recommended. The ac is not cool - I was up all night tossing and turning in the hot sheets. They come in and turn off the ac if you leave it on. I'm not super pumped about then coming into my room when Im not there. The "breakfast" is one pastry and one coffee nearby. The description says nothing...

We specify that the B&B is a few steps from the Boboli Gardens and about 800 mt from the Pitti Palace. The air conditioning works regularly in all rooms and no customers have never complained for it. The hotel maid is authorized to enter into the rooms. This is her task. And this is the usual practice in all hotels....

The residence has spacious and charming rooms (with fresco-style painted walls), equipped with airconditioning facilities and free wi-fi (wow!). Excellent cleanliness and housekeeping services too. Lift is also available. There is no reception or luggage room (given this is not a hotel) but the residence is 100% and 24hr accessible - really feels like home! Location is also superb -...

The b&b is nice, it is basically a flat with four rooms and a shared hallway in a multi-story building. It is located on the 3rd floor. If you have a lot of luggage, there is a lift, but it is tiny. You may have to make a few trips to get your bags up. The owner, Matteo, met us...

I initially thought that this B&B was a little bit farther from the center, at least farther than where we wanted to be but it is an easy walk. The accommodations are great, clean & cozy room with all the amenities we needed. The host, Matteo is very charming and very eager to please. Breakfast is included at a local...
