This hotel was fantastic, and in the heart of it all. You can walk to any of the highlights in Florence, Yes, it is noisy at night, but some earplugs will do the trick. With its location, you can pop back into your hotel easily and drop off your souvenirs, change your camera battery, etc. and get right back into...

Let me just say that the building is beautiful, the room was very charming and the staff is so welcoming! You can't beat the location, you're in the heart of the city. I just wish I would have saw a few of the reviews noting how loud the square can get outside at night. For 3 nights in a row...

This amazing place is right in the heart of Florence and a stones throw from all the main attractions. Upon arrival we we greeted by Christopher and shown to out room. The rooms are spacious and well decorated. The gallery has a total of 9 rooms all individually decorated. The lounge area cozy and beautiful. There is a daily market...

Great hotel located in the heart of Florence. All main tourist attractions within a walking distance. Christopher (staff) was extremely welcomed and attentive, he made us feel like home. Our room was spacious with a massive old fashion and comfortable bed, and a brilliant bath. Breakfast was also very nice, service is outstanding. We met the hotel owner who was...

I stayed for a week in November. The staff is wonderfully helpful and the hotel itself is lovely--with many of the decorations for sale as the "Gallery" part of the name. It is in the center of everything facing the Mercato Nuovo that has the fountain of the Porcellino (little boar) as in the first part of the name. The...

This hotel is right in the heart of the city. It is literally a 5 minute walk to the center market, the bridge, Il Duomo. Seriously, you can't beat it. The room I had was lovely and spotless. It had a huge shuttered double door right over the small market where Il Porcellino is. This is both good and bad....

First, the good part: This is a gorgeous place, very beautiful design and decor. Th staff is nice and welcoming. And it's walking distance to all the main attractions in Florence. But.... it is located right beside the Piazza del Mercato, so vendors and their carts are making noise around 6:30 AM. In the weekend, the Piazza is taken over by...

Wonderful hotel! I can't say enough about how much I loved this hotel. This was one of the most charming and beautiful hotels I've ever had the pleasure of visiting. I loved this hotel and feel lucky to have stayed here. The hotel staff (Chris and Sarah) were helpful, friendly, and gave great suggestions for local places to eat and...

We stayed at Porcellino Gallery for two nights while traveling around Italy and this lovely bed and breakfast was our favorite place! You are in the heart of Florence - two seconds away from the Ponte Vecchio, Uffizi Gallery, etc. There are some complaints about the noise, however, if you shut the shutters, you cannot hear anything in the square...

Uffizi
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries.
