We liked the location. 20min. walking to the center. The room was really clean. The mattress was not comfortable at all. The room by the road is noisy. Toiletries were basic and the towels were not changed the first day. Good espresso but they could add something to the breakfast-cheese for example. The terrace was nice but if we wanted...

Clean, spacious. Toilet was ample and sheets were clean. Owner was very gracious and took the time to explain how to get to the museums, transport and even parking. Only complaint was that the walls very thin, could hear the outside people walking and talking. Refrain from quarrelling with spouse or love making.

First things first....If you are planning to walk to the hotel, make sure you go from Firenze Campo di Marte station by getting down on the 12th platform side(or whichever is maximum). We got down at 1st platform side and that wasted some time. Use google maps and walk through street view to get a better idea of the hotel...

Should read reviews better. Had trouble finding this place as the locals had no idea. Got there only to find there on the 2nd floor & no porter on small stair lift but owner said it's not worth using as it only go's to 1st floor. We arrived at 4.30pm but rooms had not been all cleaned so ended up...

If we are ever going to Florence again, we will definitely stay at Hotel Emma! The kind owners welcomed us as friends and made our stay of three nights very comfortable. The breakfast was great, the owners themselves offered delicious coffee and cappuccino. I really appreciate, that the rooms were silent, far off from loud city rumble - nevertheless, it...

We are writing this from our bed in room 7. We are sitting in absolute silence after our busy day as tourists. We are very pleased with our room and it has served our purpose well. We really wanted some place to sleep, shower and keep our luggage safe while we were out. What we found was a location that...

I stayed here for two nights with a friend. The owners are very kind and accomidating. It is relatively small, about 10 rooms or so. The rooms weren't anything over the top but they were clean and cute. The breakfast area was nice, there was a general selection for Italy; crossant, pasteries, yogurt, cereal, and meats. They also used brand...

The hotel itself was fine. Room was pleasant enough. Not really enough closet space but sufficient. Definitely didn't care for the inn keeper, not overly friendly or helpful. If your not given the ground rules it makes it extremely difficult to follow.
