This Hotel is older but nice, walking distance to bus station and santa maria novella train station. Breakfast has many selections. There are plenty of restaurants around, walking distance to the Plaza. Staff are very friendly. Rooms are clean. No airconditioning, but can open the windows. We went in April and the weather was great, warm during the day but...

We were booked here through an agency handling accommodations for the World Trisome Games. We learned later that another country refused to stay at the Cavaliere. We found out why. Disinterested hotel manager. Very poor breakfast buffet with sparse choices. Small rooms with bad air conditioning system.

On arrival our welcome to the hotel was very poor, very little interest shown..When I asked questions as to where restaurants, shop's etc were the reply was " half an hour walk " or you could get a bus, when I asked where I could get a bus the reply was " over there " NOT VERY HELPFUL.... The room...

I arrived in Florence during ' Fashion Week' when hotel prices are up. I knew that but couldn't change my travel times. For a very small room the not centrally located Hotel Cavaliere charged me close to 200 euros per night.. The room was on the 3rd floor (no elevators), was tiny & dingy with substandard blankets & linen. there...

Didn't like the attitude of the personnelle, weren't very nice. They also try to get as much money out of you as they can. The room was clean, which is a plus. But I didn't feel too comfortable there, because of how they treat you. Wouldn't recommend it.

Great location as most hotels here are in here close to city centre, transport etc. Hubby adult daughter and me in one room which was roomy enough with 2 tvs and a great bathroom, all you needed and then to top it off we had a wonderful breakfast with everything you would need and in a lovely garden setting if...

Not your place if you come to work in Milano. Really lousy service. Technical problems are met with Aha. Air condition goes on like it is harvest time in a barn, no way to turn it off. No adapter to borrow and no advice where to buy one. Internet is free - if you want to surf, but not if...

Stayed there for 15 days, was trying to find an apartment .I was so glad when i finally found one and leave here. The room was the smallest room i have ever stayed. The breakfast was no good at all. However the room was cleaned daily. You can find better hotels near duamo for better prices.Avoid.

Good if you travel by a car. Not recommend tourist without a car. The guy is very grumpy and didnt feel very nice. The room is ok, good decorated, size and facility. I could find better one with the same price range.
