We arrived at the arranged time - only to be locked out of the hotel? Made an expensive moble call to the Hotel number - only to be abused by some irrate Italian who spoke terrible English? Eventually managed to gain access ( shop keeper next door - let us in) - only to find out Hotel was un-manned and...

If you're looking for large rooms, cable TV and all the trimmings, look elsewhere. The hotel was very basic, rooms compact and we had some problems with our shower, meaning we had to use the shared one down the corridor from our room. Overall, however we would most definitely recommend this hotel to people visiting Firenze for the first time...

I arrived at this hotel very late due to the train system breakdown. Luckily I made a call to the hotel and told them that I will reach very late, like 1am. The location is good, near to the attractions and main train station. The rooms are very basic. Some hostel I stayed in Europe is actually better than this...

Positive: Location is really great, close to the market and the old town, not far to the station as well. Rather save as well it seemed. Negative: Stayed with 4 friends in one room - too small. No A/C , very hot. The bath room was nasty and the girls really had issues to use it. Overall not worth the...

Yes, is a good place to spend a day in Florence, especially if you don't need to spend lots of time in hotel. Basic and confortable room (ac in our room). Was really quiet and clean and the staff was very friendly. I reccomend this place to all the people who don't need luxury but just a room to sleep...

The staff is the best thing there. Rooms are simple but confortable and in general the place is clean. Perfect location.

This place is cheap and within walking distance of the train station in the town, however, calling it "hotel" is a joke. It looks nothing like the pictures. Our rooms smelled bad, sheets were stained, and the curtains were just sheer pieces of muslin. The shutters to keep the light out only came down a third of the way. There...

Our impression of the Hotel Etrusca got off to a wonderful start thanks to the desk attendant, Nalin. He was undoubtedly one of the kindest, most accommodating people we met during our entire two week European odyssey. The rooms were a tad small (the bathroom was practically microscopic!), but how much time should one really spend in a hotel room...

I stayed at the Hotel Etrusca, booking through a hostel site. The rooms were dingy, the reception was dirty and cluttered, the beds practically had springs poking out of them, and the walls were so thin that the desk worker's screaming kid woke me up early in the morning. The location is fine but there is a lockout between 10...
