please do not ruin your visit in one of the most beautiful cities in the world with one of your worse night lodging in the world. It´s ridiculous what they offer. Unprofessional service. Not all Italians are like the owners, believe me!

Noisy and has bedbugs! AVOID! The location is fine but the room was dirty and we got bitten a lot - only stayed one night. Antihistamines lessen the itching but it ruined our trip to an otherwise great city.

Me and my partner stayed here in July for only 2 nights (thank God) while travelling around Italy. The hotel was very cheap and was in an excellent location, really near the Duomo and surrounded by lovely bars and restaurants. However, I can say without a doubt that I would rather camp out in Florence Train Station than stay here...

the position is the only one good thing - it is near to the station and Dome, BUT the room was dirty, smelled after cigarettes, there was somebody else´s clothes in the wardrobe, the furniture is very very old, the owner could paint the room at least, there are more rooms in one flat, the bathroom is shared and also...

We arrived at the hotel quite late at night following a train delay, but were met by a very friendly Italian lady. She doesn't speak any English, but showed us to our rooms and communicated everything we needed to know through eccentric gestures and a strange mixture of European languages! The rooms were really comfy, basic, but everything you needed...

My father and I were traveling around Italy and we came to the hotel despite other reviews because of the location and decent price. What a big mistake that was! We stayed for two nights in July and it was probably the most memorable... and not for any good reasons. We did, however, stay in a single room with a...

Luckily I only spent one night here just to make over for the next morning's early train. Yes it was close to the train station, but the sound insulation was really really poor. The owners were an old couple, and they both spoke loudly, which disturbed my sleeping a looooooot!!!! Besides, they couldn't speak much English, actually our communication was...

I was travelling with my boyfriend and we had a wonderfull experience. The owner, a nice and welcoming lady, has been absolutely helpful with all our needs. The room was quiet and clean. Just down the bulding, on Via Faenza, we have found nice and cheap café and restaurants and we have spent one of the most amazing holiday. I...

We hadn't checked the reviews when booking and got there expecting a fairly nice, budget hotel as in the pictures. When we got there the owners showed us to our room, as we walked in he started shouting ushering us out, we looked and there was underwear and washing all round the room. We gathered he'd taken us into the...

So I guess it all depends on your attitude. We took this as apart of an 'experience'. We were in desperate need of accommodation and Florence was pretty much booked out unless you want to pay ALOT for accommodation. We got the last room available, the location is brilliant and we ignored the reviews! Haha! Ill start with the positives......

San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo’s lively merchants shout out from behind stalls with an array of products in one of the most traditional neighborhoods in Florence. Different ethnic groups join together in the large outdoor market of San Lorenzo and in the Central Market, a vast multi-floored building.
