THE perfect location for exploring Florence sitting on the most beautiful Piazza surrounded by restaurants and history. The Uffizzi is 2 minutes and the Ponte Vecchio 4 minutes walk away. The apartment was clean and comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. The lift is minute, so if you suffer from claustrophobia, ask for a room on a lower floor...

A very nice apartment with a Piazza Della Signoria address- tremendous location for people watching, soak in history and romantic walks near the bridges! Apartment staff , especially Fuvio was very witty, friendly and eager to help and Laura was very responsive, helpful and made sure we enjoyed our stay in the apartment. Apartments are large and cozy with full...

We really enjoyed our stay at the Relais Piazza Signoria. The location was fantastic, and we stayed in the penthouse which was a good amount of space for our family of 4. Plus we had a great view from our balcony and the added bonus of a live concert below on one of the nights.

Walkability Score, 99-100! This location is ideal for people who want to be "in-the-scene". Perfect for foodies, shoppers and people watching. The room we booked was on the top floor. The elevator is the sort of small vertically moving mini-closet that either makes you smile from its quaintness or inspires you to do the stairs. So, either you're smitten or...

All that has been said before about the penthouse at the Relais Piazza Signoria is true. The lift is indeed small but as we already knew we had a plan to get to the top. The last level of stairs was the hardest but it was the best saved till last. The rooms were lovely, the bathroom was great and...

Stayed here for 2 nights and it was really lovely. The location is really perfect if you're wanting to experience the city. We had a room with a view which I'd highly recommend. Friendly staff and near port vecchio to explore that side of the bridge too. Really enjoyed being here, it felt like home!

Such a well placed location on the edge of Piazza della Signoria, so close to the Uffizzi and Palazzo Vecchio and then within walking distance of Ponte Vecchio and the Duomo. Fortunately, we used a taxi from the station as otherwise it could have been difficult to find/walk to! Welcome pack provided, though the kitchen area only contained a fridge,...

What a great little hotel/condominium! My husband and I and grandkids loved our spacious and comfortable two bedroom/2 bath suite with kitchen. The location was perfect for sighteeing on foot around Florence, and being right by the Piazza Signoria was super easy to find our way back to no matter where we wandered. Our bed was very comfortable, and the...

We stayed in an Executive apartment, which was perfect. The location right on the Piazza Signoria is so central - it's an easy walk to all the sights. It's also within walking distance of the Santa Maria Novella station (where the Pisa airport buses arrive), although we took a taxi (around 8 euros) just to save having to trundle luggage...

We spent 4 nights in Florence and loved the Hotel, although it doesn't seem like a hotel as there is no big entry or sign on the outside of the building. From outside it's just a door to a building, you have to put in a special code to gain entry, so quite secure. The tiny reception is on level...

Staying in Uffizi

Neighbourhood Profile
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
