We stayed here by chance, after the A/C in our AirBnB stopped working. One of the last rooms available in the city, we truly lucked out. We stayed in the King Suite and could not have been happier with our room. The room was HUGE,...More
We thought we were Italian royalty staying in this two bedroom suite. Everyone's eyes turned when we entered the rooms, high ceilings, large bedrooms, frescos on the walls and ceilings while staying in the old luxurious Guicciardini Family Palazzo now converted hotel-one of my daughters...More

For its kind (small hotel - residenza d'epoca) excellent. We stayed in a suite, all our family, and was very comfortable. The personnel very nice and helpful. However, it lacks the experience of big hotels (if you are fan of them).
A warm evening with a cocktail in your hand and great company is the ideal way to experience Piazza Santo Spirito; the area is busiest at sunset for happy hour. Visitors cannot hide their astonishment sitting on the staircase under the Basilica of Santo Spirito, and they cannot help but stare at the architectural masterpieces like Bianca Cappello House, Fontana dello Sprone and San Frediano in Cestello and Santa Maria
delle Carmine churches. Tourists and Florentines alike join up in the area between Santo Spirito and San Frediano, connecting the Tuscan soul to the international spirit permeating the city.
