Beautiful hotel... but you must walk through the ghetto to get to the beauty of Florence. Don't judge Florence by the space between the Tram pick-up and drop-off. Find a hotel in Santa Croce, somewhere near Duomo and the leather market on the other-side of the river.

We recently stayed at Riva Lofts in Florence, Italy. The rooms were large and beautiful and the staff were exceptionally nice and helpful. There is a tram station very near the lofts which takes you to downtown Florence (just three stops away). The hotel is next to the Arno River and across from a huge park. Because it is slightly...

Just outside the historic centre (10 mins by bikes, provided by the hotel, complimentary), the property is beautiful, along the river Arno. Lots of complimentary amenities, great advices from the staff, we should have stayed there the entire week (instead of spending any time at the Westin) This si clearly for the discerning traveller... so all those who are looking...

An architectural jewel, located in the most strategic position of Florence, 5 minutes away from the main Italian highway, 5 minutes away from the historical hearth of Florence , 5 minutes from the airport (extremely quiet) and surrounded by the woods of the Arno river, where local go jogging or brining their pet for long walks. The staff is amazing,...

Perhaps I'm a little old fashioned but I found this hotel a little cold after the Tuscan luxe we had become accustomed to. It is very modern in design, grey walls, open plan rooms, curtains for walls, but it felt a little industrial. It's a very well run little place and service was helpful and knowledgable but perhaps a little...

We booked three 2-person appartments in september after making a carefull selection of all available options in Florence. Ultimately we chose Riva Lofts because of the design and it's location close to the center. A week before arriving the staff made all the requested lunch and dinner reservations I requested and provided me with suggestions for others that weren't available....

An oasis out of the chaos of touristing - tranquil, green, space and yet so close to everything. The staff have been the most amazing we have found in Italy - nothing was too much trouble. Clean, comfortable, spacious and modern design - a very special place to stay. A pool and garden to relax and enjoy after a hard...

My husband and I recently booked Riva Lofts for our three-night stay in Florence. We were looking for something more modern and classy than the gilt kitsch and cramped hotels we kept coming across and we wanted to be slightly out of the core tourist area. Riva Lofts turned out to be perfect. It is a secure, small collection of...

I stumbled upon this villa on Mr & Mrs Smith (one of the greatest sites for finding hidden gems) and it exceeded my expectations beyond belief. The lovely lady at check in was super helpful with providing tips on where the locals eat, drink and shop. Management left a bottle of wine and a few little goodies for us as...

Situated on the river and opposite parks - this is a great location and a 20min walk along the riverbanks to all of Florence's many sights. This is an oasis of calm for a well earned retreat. Small garden and pool for sunbathing. Great continental breakfast. We had 2 rooms and stayed for 4nights. Staff recommended good variety of restuarants...
