After reading the other reviews we thought Il Casale di Nanni would be a perfect base for 3 nights in Lucca with the kids. We stayed in the ground floor 1-bedroom apartment which was very dark and smelt of damp. Most windows opened directly onto the road outside and lucky it wasn't very hot when we were there as the...

This hotel was a good value for the price. The pool was very nice, and the couple kept up the grounds very well. It's a quick five minute drive to the walls of the city, and parking was very easy outside of the walls. It wasn't in an area that you could really walk around, but since it was so...

We are a family of 4 (kids at 4 and 6 yrs) and stayed at this B&B for 4 nights. We chose this place because of the pool and walking distance (apprx. 2 km one way) to town centre. We had a nice stay and the breakfast was fantastic! The lady who run the B&B was also really nice and...

This is a charming little B&B. Our room was very comfortable with a good terrace and separate bathroom, all in good condition but with character. Breakfast was very good, lots of fruit and all the rest. The owner is a very warm lady, who has smile for all. She catered very well for my Gluten free breakfast and even sent...

The B&B is located close to Lucca, you van walk or take one of the bikes of the B&B. Don't expect much of the bikes if you are from the netherlands, but they will get you there. The room was okay, we bumped into each other quite often, since the room was not that big. We did not sleep very...

We were a party of 9 adults who stayed at the hotel for five night last week. The rooms were all different both in sizes and shape and all were charming in their own way. The hotel itself is just like a family-own italian hotel should be. Charming, pittoresque, clean, traditional, friendly atmosphere and with lots of flowers and vines...

Clean and comfortable. Delightful owner. Good breakfast. You can walk into the city in about 15 minutes. Near the motorway so quick access to Pisa and Florence. Lucca is a really nice city, full of charm and character.

We booked to stay at this accommodation through one of the numerous hotel booking websites as part of a two week trip around Italy. On arrival at the accommodation in Lucca we found that the owner had no details of our reservation which wasn't a great start. Unfortunately all the rooms were full so she said she would make sure...
