I don't even know how to begin. This hotel was amazing! First, the room- The rooms are simply amazing. The decorations are so pretty! I love how they are all color coordinated. We asked for an extra bed for our 12 year old, and they gave her an entire other room just down the hall without any other charge. Service-...

Lucca is the place I would stay after a busy day in Pisa, there is much to see and do here with the old city. We had a very clean room and the staff went out of their way to make our overnight stay an enjoyable one. Internet access, water in the fridge and a nice breakfast all for €80...

The Principe Calaf has a very good location just outside the historcal city center of Lucca, it takes only five minutes by foot to get inside the city wall. The rooms were spacy clean and the beds comfortable. Since the hotel is situated at a cross road there is some traffic noice, especially in the morning. The badrooms are fine...

Maria is an excellent host and very helpful especially on the restaurants to go to for the exquisite Lucca cuisine! Upon arrival we decided to stay another night and were able to pick and choose the room. We love cycling in downtown Lucca (bikes provided) but were not able to count all the available churches; supposed to be 99...

The bathroom was also very spacious and clean with all the aminities. The free parking within the grounds was very convenient. The free bike hire was a treat and we enjoyed cycling in the park...

Our bedrooms were large and airy, well prepared and well serviced during our three-night stay. Breakfast was good, with plenty of fresh fruit, cheese and meats. Coffee available all day and...

This B&B is located in a 100-year old liberty villino, restructured with taste, at walking distance from the north walls of Lucca. Our room was spotless clean, spacious and well furnished, with a beautiful bathroom. The possibility of parking the car in the garden is a great advantage. Many bikes are available for visiting the city. The staff was very...

We have recently stayed at Principe Calaf for three nights and can only agree with the comments made by previous guests. Maria and her staff were all extremely helpful (we did not meet her husband) and gave us details of local restaurants and attractions. We had arranged to collect a hire car from the Avis office on the morning we...
