A fabulous hotel - great location, amazing staff, wonderful breakfast... great value for money. We stayed in the dislocated building (just around the corner of the hotel), the room was very charming and clean. It was also relatively peaceful and quiet, considering the great centre location. If you're travelling by car, mentally prepare yourself to drive through some quite narrow...

I never thought there was a great location that I would find uncomfortable because of location. This Alberg is so close to the Summer Music Festival, that you can actually feel the music in the walls. Great normally, but if you do not like heavy metal, you need to evacuate until the musical tide recedes. For all other moments, let the...

Stayed for two nights. Room was lovely although ground floor not the best option probably (see room tips). Staff very helpful and friendly and breakfast excellent. This hotel is well situated within the city walls and close to everything. When we left before breakfast on the last morning staff made sure we had coffee and pastries before we went. Goods...

We had a great time during our 1 night stay in Albergo San Martino. The location is superb, the room was very nice, clean and practical, and we had a nice breakfast in the terrace outside on a beautiful sunny morning. On top of all that, the staff were really friendly and efficient! In fact, I mistakenly made a reservation...

My wife and I visited Lucca during our recent trip to Tuscany, Italy. The hotel had been recommended to us. It did not disappoint. The first advantage that the hotel had was a parking facility . ( Parking can be an issue in Italian 'Old Town's'). The hotel is a family owned property and we noticed the difference straight away....

We stayed in the separate wing from the main hotel. Its obviously recently renovated...lovely decor. These rooms have double glazed windows with external shutters and internal shutters meaning totally silent, totally dark room...bliss! Close to everything...but everything is close in Lucca. Staff lovely and helpful...wonderful breakfasts....excellent pastries (had to restrain ourselves here), free wifi in the room but no English...

While traveling, my friends and I needed to find a place to stay in Lucca at the last minute. We lucked upon this hotel and are glad to have found it. It's tucked away in a quiet little square near the south entrance to the city. Staff was very friendly and helpful, including the young lady who led me to...

We stayed here one night. The location is a bit hard to find, but that could be said for much of Lucca. Very friendly and helpful staff. Provided access to a secure parking area inside the city walls. Comfortable room. Reasonable rate. Fine breakfast, especially if you like hard rolls, cheese, and meats.
