I was traveling with 3 guys and 2 other women. If I was alone I would not have felt comfortable. We used google maps to find the place and still got lost. There is no sign on the gate or anywhere. Wear to call and gave someone meet us in the street. The man in the office did stay late...

Lovely people. Excellent price. Room was OK. A noise from some water pump every once in a while altered the peace. Except for that and a slight funny smell that was quickly ignored, everything was great. It is located at only 3 blocks from Porta Elisa, where you can access the citadel, which is an absolute jewel. I definitely recommend...

“Conveniently located just outside the city wall, so easy access to the center of town. The room (twin) was spacious and clean. The bathroom was clean but the kitchen very basic with items for cooking missing and things not very clean. The staff was very friendly and when we wanted to open a bottle of wine to toast my birthday...

First, the positives....its really close to the city walls, so you can easily walk to and around the city. Its also quite close to the train station. This is an old house, with an overgrown garden in the courtyard. The rooms are small but with very high ceilings. The house is rather old and not in the best of shape,...

The people welcoming us where super nice, and gave a lot of information about Lucca. By check-out they even gave us a ride to the station, which is of course great guest service. That's why I almost feel bad saying that I didn't like the property so much. We had a huge room, but it just looked shabby. And the...

Really helpful and relaxed staff and good kitchen facilities (also large supermarket literally next door). Location was a little far away, it was about 5 mins walk to the walls of Lucca. No wifi or air con but good sized room.

Had a kitchen we could cook our own meals. Staff was very helpful and went out of their way to help us. Picked us up at the train station and dropped us off when we checked out. Flowers and garden nearby made everything smell wonderful. The balcony was great. We would stay here again. There is a bar nearby but...

We selected this hotel because of the price (60 euros), free parking, and proximity to Lucca. The building itself is kind of cute. Like other budget hotels we stayed in, there is no elevator and breakfast is not included in the room rate. We were in a second floor room with a private bath that was comically small; just *wide*...

As mentioned by a reviewer beneath: you get wath you pay for. Nice welcome by the hostess, very friendly. It was a clean room, bathroom and kitchen. The mattress on the bed was allready a little old and not very comfortable. Very handy to have a little kitchen with a fridge!! Bathroom was ok. It's is located near the city-center,...
